Employer branding · Manufacturing

Your next twenty tailors come from the home village of the twenty on the line.

Employer branding for a textile or garment manufacturer is what a tailor, checker or merchandiser hears before she arrives: from the women already on the line, from her home district and from the hostel. GullySales writes the careers page and the recruitment messages from what your own workers say.

A colliery lamp room seen from the counter: the roller shutter half up over a deep hatch, rows of cap lamps and their batteries hanging on hooks in the recess behind it, a rack of self-rescuers on the wall above, and a check-board of pegs beside the hatch with a single brass tally hanging on it where a lamp has gone out

Where this sits

For textile and garment manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Recruitment runs on home districts, not on job boards

Operators arrive because a sister-in-law already works your line, and they stop arriving when she goes home unhappy at the festival break. That is your hiring channel and it is entirely word of mouth.

  • The hostel, the crèche and the bus decide it

For a migrant operator the factory is the smaller half of the decision. Where she sleeps, who watches her child during the shift and how she gets back after overtime settle the rest.

  • The date wages land is the reputation

Pay reaching the account on the day promised is the single fact that travels furthest. Nothing you publish survives a month when it did not happen.

  • Merchandisers judge you by the buyers you cannot name

Office staff want to know which markets and which buyers, and your contracts usually forbid saying. Describing the product, the seasons and the volumes is the way round it.

What we do

What we deliver for textile and garment manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Both halves of the factory on one page

Cutting, sewing, checking and finishing, alongside the merchandising, industrial engineering and quality desks, each described as a job rather than as a department on a chart.

Result: Applicants who know which side of the factory they applied to.

  2. Facilities described as they are

Hostel arrangements, crèche timings, transport routes, the canteen and the medical room. Written after somebody has walked through all of them with a notebook.

Result: A decision a family can make without visiting first.

  3. Your audit evidence turned into hiring material

If buyers audit your factory, you already document hours, wages, grievance handling and facilities. That record is the raw material for careers copy nobody has to invent.

Result: Claims on the page you can already prove.

  4. Messages for the home districts

Short posts and voice messages your existing operators send to their own villages, in the language they speak, with the work, the pay structure and the travel explained.

Result: Arrivals who knew the job before they got on the bus.

  5. Supervisor and merchandiser posts written apart

A line supervisor and a merchandiser are choosing different things. Two posts, with the product categories, the seasons and the reporting line each set out.

Result: Office applications from people who have done the work.

  6. What the women on your line say

Conversations with operators who have stayed five years and with one who left and came back, recorded with consent and used in their own words.

Result: The only argument a competing factory cannot copy.

How the result is measured

  • Applications received per open role
  • Careers page engagement and time on page
  • Candidate drop-off during the interview process
  • Referral hires as a share of total hires

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for textile and garment manufacturers

  1. 1

    Talk to current employees

We interview a cross-section of staff honestly, including some who might raise uncomfortable points.

  2. 2

Find the genuine reasons to join

We identify what is actually true and attractive about working there, rather than generic claims that could apply anywhere.

  3. 3

    Build the careers content

The careers page, job post templates and employee stories are written from what staff actually said.

  4. 4

    Review the candidate experience

We check what happens between application and offer, since branding cannot fix a process that loses candidates through delay.

  5. 5

    Hand over and refresh periodically

Content is handed over for ongoing use and revisited periodically as the team and roles change.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can you bring us operators?
No. We do not recruit, we do not work with labour contractors and we have nothing to do with wages. We write the careers page, the job posts and the messages your own workers send home.
Our operators do not read websites. What is the point of a page?
The page is not for them and we would not pretend otherwise. It is for the supervisor, the merchandiser and the quality staff, and for the buyer's auditor who looks you up. What reaches the operator is the voice message her cousin forwards, which we write too, in her language.
Our buyers audit us already. Is this the same work?
No. An audit checks whether you meet a standard. This takes what the audit already recorded and turns it into something a candidate will actually read, which is a different job and a far shorter document. Where an audit found something you are still fixing, it stays off the page until it is fixed.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
