Car dealers · Email marketing

Email is for fleet quotations and the paperwork, not for retail buyers.

Retail car buyers answer WhatsApp and ignore email, so a dealership's inbox work is corporate and fleet enquiries, quotations and the record a purchase team needs. GullySales builds the company list around your branch and writes the quotation format their buyer can approve.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For car dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A purchase team cannot act on a chat message”

A company buying three cars needs a quotation on letterhead with GST, delivery timelines and the employee scheme terms. That goes by mail or it does not go.

  • “The business parks near your branch are the whole list”

Human resources teams run employee purchase offers and nobody has asked them. A short mail with a scheme and a showroom day is enough to open the conversation.

  • “Fleet buyers read terms, not excitement”

Rates, finance, service support and downtime, set out in a document they can compare. A seasonal offer mail reads as noise to an operator.

  • “The one retail mail worth sending carries their own papers”

Insurance renewal, service dates and warranty documents reach a customer who deletes everything else from a dealership. It is also how your address stays in the inbox.

What we do

What we deliver for car dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A company list built around your branch

The offices, industrial estates, hospitals and institutions near each showroom, with the human resources and administration contacts named.

Result: You know who to write to about employee schemes.

  2. A corporate quotation format

A letterhead quotation with GST, variant options, delivery timelines, finance terms and the employee scheme, ready to circulate inside a company.

Result: Purchase teams can act on what you send.

  3. A fleet proposal for operators

Rates, finance arrangements, service support, downtime handling and a named contact, written for cab operators and transport firms.

Result: Multi-vehicle enquiries get a serious document.

  4. A document mail after every delivery

Invoice, insurance, warranty and service schedule sent together, with the renewal dates set out in the same mail.

Result: Your address sits in an inbox that gets searched.

  5. Renewal and service reminders from your own records

Insurance renewal, service due and warranty expiry mails built from the dates already in the dealer management system.

Result: Retention work happens without anybody remembering it.

  6. Consent, unsubscribe and list cleaning

Permission recorded when an address is taken, an unsubscribe line in every send and dead addresses cleared out.

Result: The list stays small and useful.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a car dealership needs in place before it writes to a company or fleet buyer.

A list of the companies near the showroom
Build it from corporate customers you have sold to, fleet enquiries, and offices and institutions around your branch. Note the purchase or admin contact and the date you last spoke.
A quotation in a format an approver can use
Show the model, variant and colour, the ex-showroom and on-road lines, the validity date and the accessories included. Say that prices follow the manufacturer's current list. A vague quote cannot be approved.
The manufacturer's brand and offer rules
Your dealer agreement may limit how you use the brand name, logo, offers and prices in your own mail. Read it, or ask the brand's regional office, before a campaign goes out.
Exchange and finance details written down
If the company is exchanging a vehicle or taking finance, the mail should state the valuation basis, the financier's name and the documents needed. A buyer who has to phone to ask loses patience.
A test drive or fleet demo arranged by a named person
Each mail ends with one named contact and one action, a demonstration at the company's own site or the showroom. Replies go to that person, not to the front desk.
An opt-out and a clean list
Add a plain unsubscribe link, and remove addresses that bounce. A buyer who has left a company should not be mailed in that company's name.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the email marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your list

We review who is on the list, how they got there, and how long it has been since they last heard from you.

  2. 2

    Audit past sends

We check open and click rates from past emails to see what has and has not worked.

  3. 3

    Segment and plan

The list is split into meaningful groups and a sending calendar is agreed.

  4. 4

    Implement content and automation

Emails are written, scheduled and, where useful, set to trigger automatically based on behaviour.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track performance and adjust subject lines, timing and content based on what the list responds to.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is email worth any effort in a retail showroom?
For retail buyers, very little, because they answer the phone and WhatsApp. It earns its place with companies, fleet buyers and the documents a customer keeps. Judge it on corporate enquiries rather than on open rates.
How do we get in front of a human resources team?
A short mail with the employee scheme, a showroom day and one contact, followed by a call. Most dealerships never write at all, so the field is thinner than you would expect. Ask for a slot at the company's next staff event.
Can we email a customer who filled in a portal form?
You can reply to the enquiry they made, with the details they asked for. Do not put them on a general list unless they agreed. Check your dealer agreement and the portal's current rules on how its enquiry data may be used.
Should a quotation be a PDF or written in the email?
Do both. Put the model, variant, price and validity date in the mail, since many readers see only the first screen, and attach a small PDF with the full breakup for the approver's file. Keep the two identical.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
