Truck, trailer and commercial vehicle dealers · Automotive

Get the transporter on the phone before he walks into the next dealer's yard.

A transporter in Namakkal wants a second tipper before the sand season. He asks a friend, watches two YouTube reviews, calls three dealers and goes to see the one whose salesman answered on the first ring and sent a clean quotation on WhatsApp.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph

Truck and commercial vehicle dealer marketing brings owner-drivers, fleet owners and first-time operators to your showroom and yard, and sales turns those enquiries into booked chassis and sold pre-owned vehicles. GullySales sets up the Google Business Profile, the stock pages, the WhatsApp reply routine and the enquiry register, so every call is recorded and followed up.

The two dealers he did not choose had stock, a good brand and a lower EMI. They lost the sale because nobody picked up on the day he called.

Commercial vehicle dealers spend most of their effort on the OEM's targets, the finance tie-ups and the used-vehicle yard. The enquiry side is left to the front desk and to whoever is free. Calls from a Google listing, a classified site and a walk-in are noted in different notebooks, and nobody can say which of them became a registration.

How buyers decide

How truck, trailer and commercial vehicle dealers are chosen.

A truck is bought on trust, on running cost and on who will take the call at midnight when it is stuck on the highway. An owner-driver asks other drivers and the people at the Transport Nagar tea stall. A fleet owner asks his own mechanic and his finance contact. A first-time buyer who has just got a contract from a company looks at what he can afford each month and who will arrange the loan.

Most of them begin on a phone. They search in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil or English for a make, a payload and a city, watch walk-around videos on YouTube, and message a dealer on WhatsApp for a price and the nearest stock. For pre-owned vehicles they want photographs of the chassis, the odometer, the RC and the tyres before they will drive two hundred kilometres to see it.

The problem

What usually goes wrong for truck, trailer and commercial vehicle dealers.

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • “Calls from the listing go unanswered”

The showroom phone rings in the middle of a test drive or a delivery, nobody calls back, and the buyer rings the dealer in the next town.

  • “Used stock sits in the yard”

A good vehicle is listed on one classified site with three photographs and no registration year, so buyers scroll past it and it ages in the yard.

  • “Finance enquiries stall with the lender”

The buyer is interested, but the documents are incomplete, nobody tells him what is pending, and the file goes cold before the lender decides.

  • “Fleet owners buy from whoever they know”

A buyer with ten vehicles gets one visit, a brochure and a price, and is never called again until he has already ordered from someone else.

  • “Service customers never come back for a purchase”

The workshop sees hundreds of owners, yet nobody records who has an ageing vehicle that will soon need replacing.

  • “We cannot say which source brings registrations”

Money goes into hoardings, classifieds and boosted posts, and the only figure we have is the number of calls, not the number of vehicles sold.

What we do

What we do for truck, trailer and commercial vehicle dealers.

Everything included for truck, trailer and commercial vehicle dealers, and the result each part is there to produce.

  1. Enquiry register for every call and message

One sheet or CRM that records the buyer, the vehicle he asked about, the source, who replied and when, so no enquiry lives only on a salesman's phone.

Result: You can see which sources turn into registrations.

  2. Stock pages for new and pre-owned vehicles

A page per model and per used vehicle, with payload, body type, registration year, odometer reading, location and a button to message on WhatsApp.

Result: A buyer can judge a vehicle from his phone before he drives to the yard.

  3. Google Business Profile for each showroom and yard

Correct categories, working hours, photographs of the premises, service and sales numbers kept separate, and a routine for replying to reviews.

Result: A transporter searching near him finds the right branch and the right number.

  4. Finance and document follow-up routine

A checklist of papers per buyer type and a status message to the buyer at each stage, written in his language.

Result: Fewer finance files go quiet because the buyer was not told what was pending.

  5. Fleet owner and repeat buyer list

A list of transporters who bought, serviced or enquired, with fleet size, vehicle ages and the next likely purchase, kept by the sales head.

Result: The next purchase is discussed with you before it is discussed with a rival.

  6. Sales and marketing report by source

Enquiries, visits, bookings and registrations traced to Google, classified sites, YouTube, referrals and walk-ins, set against the baseline recorded before work started.

Result: You spend on the sources that sell vehicles, not the ones that make the phone ring.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries by source
  • Reply time to a call or message
  • Test drives and yard visits booked
  • Bookings and registrations by source
  • Finance files completed against started
  • Pre-owned stock age and sell-through

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Worth a page and a campaign of their own

Calls and WhatsApp messages from buyers comparing dealers · Pre-owned stock pages with clear photographs and papers · Finance enquiries and document follow-up · Fleet owners and repeat transporters · Service customers who will need a new vehicle soon · Body building enquiries for tippers, tankers and containers · Test drive and showroom visit bookings · Local search visibility around transport hubs · Referrals from drivers, mechanics and finance contacts

Priority campaigns

Campaigns for what truck, trailer and commercial vehicle dealers most want to sell.

Each one planned around when your buyers decide, and measured against the baseline.

  • New model launch campaign

A launch page, a WhatsApp broadcast to past buyers who opted in, local search ads and a showroom event for transporters and fleet owners in your territory.

Result: A new model is seen by the people who can buy it, not only by those who pass the showroom.

  • Pre-owned clearance campaign

Photographs, short walk-around videos and a stock page for each aged vehicle, listed on classified sites and the Business Profile with the papers shown.

Result: Stock that has been in the yard longest gets a proper chance to sell.

  • Season readiness campaign

Messages to tipper, tanker and agricultural-produce transporters before the construction, harvest and festival peaks, with a service check and a booking offer.

Result: Buyers think of you when they plan the season, not after it starts.

  • Fleet replacement campaign

A call and visit plan for owners whose vehicles are reaching the age at which they usually change them, using your own service and sales records.

Result: Replacement orders come from owners you already know.

  • Body building and trailer enquiry campaign

Pages and ads for tipper, tanker, container and flatbed bodies, with chassis compatibility and delivery location, aimed at buyers who have already bought a chassis.

Result: Body orders arrive with the chassis details the workshop needs to quote.

Beyond search

Where we reach buyers of truck, trailer and commercial vehicle dealers, beyond Google.

Search matters, but it is rarely the only way this industry's buyers find a supplier.

  • Owner-drivers and first-time operators

We build the Business Profile, a Hindi or regional-language page and a WhatsApp reply flow that gives price range, payload and finance steps in plain words.

  • Fleet owners and transport companies

We prepare a fleet owner list, a visit calendar and a short comparison sheet on running cost and service support for the vehicles he already runs.

  • Buyers searching for used trucks

We prepare stock pages with registration year, permit type and odometer, and set up listings on classified sites and the Business Profile.

  • Construction, mining and logistics contractors

We prepare a tipper and trailer enquiry page, and a short introduction to send to site managers and contractors in your district.

  • Finance contacts, mechanics and body builders

We prepare a referral list and a simple way to record who sent which buyer, so a mechanic or lender who sends buyers is thanked properly.

Who it is for

This is written for these truck, trailer and commercial vehicle dealers.

  • Authorised new truck and bus dealers
  • Light commercial vehicle and small goods carrier dealers
  • Pre-owned commercial vehicle dealers
  • Tipper, tanker and trailer body builders
  • Trailer and semi-trailer dealers
  • Agents and brokers who sell used trucks

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for truck, trailer and commercial vehicle dealers

  1. 1

Look at the last year of enquiries

We go through call logs, the finance register and the registrations to find where buyers came from, who answered and where files went cold.

  2. 2

Set up the places buyers search

The Business Profile, the stock pages and the classified listings are corrected, so a buyer in your district finds the right vehicle and the right number.

  3. 3

    Fix the reply and follow-up

A reply script, a finance checklist and an owner for every enquiry, written down and tried on live calls.

  4. 4

Bring in the fleet and referral buyers

The service customers, past buyers and referral contacts who are likely to buy next are listed and contacted in a planned way.

  5. 5

    Read the figures and adjust

Registrations by source and cost per booking are compared with the baseline recorded at the start, and the plan is changed to match.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.

FAQ

Questions truck, trailer and commercial vehicle dealers ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is it worth advertising a truck online when buyers trust word of mouth?
Word of mouth decides, but a buyer still checks you on his phone before he calls. A Business Profile with real photographs, a stock page and a quick reply make the referral stand up. Online brings the buyer who has no friend to ask.
Should our pre-owned vehicles be on classified sites or on our own page?
Both. A classified site gives reach, but your own page keeps the registration year, papers and photographs under your control. List each vehicle once on the site and link the same details to your page and Business Profile.
How do we handle price questions on WhatsApp?
Give the ex-showroom range and the chassis details, then ask for the buyer's city and use before quoting a final figure. A quotation sent late or not at all loses more sales than a price shared early.
Can we use this for both new and used vehicles?
Yes, but keep them separate. New vehicle enquiries go through the OEM's rules on advertising and pricing, so check those with your OEM. Used stock is yours to describe, photograph and price.
What if our OEM already runs advertising for the dealer network?
Use it, and add what the OEM cannot do for you: your own Business Profile, your local pages, your reply routine and your enquiry register. The OEM's campaigns bring a name to the buyer, and you still have to take his call.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and we tell you which applies to you after we have spoken. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
To start, last month's enquiries in any format and time with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
