Car dealers · Branding

You sell somebody else's brand, so the dealership name is all you own.

Every dealership of your brand sells the same car at the same price, so what people recommend is the showroom rather than the badge. GullySales settles what your dealership is known for inside the manufacturer's rules, and builds it into the delivery, the consultant and the used car business.

A sign-painter's bench: a shop sign on a low easel lettered as far as its last character, which is still only pencilled in, a mahl stick laid across the work, open tins of paint on the floor and a finished sign hanging from its iron bracket above

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For car dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The identity manual leaves less room than you think

Signage, colours and showroom layout are set by the brand, and the manual decides where your own name may appear. What is left to you is the delivery, the people and the paperwork.

  • Delivery day is the story people tell

The garland, the photograph, who handed over the keys and whether the accessories were fitted as promised. That afternoon gets repeated to a dozen families over the next month.

  • The pre-owned side needs a name of its own

A used car buyer is not buying the new car badge and will not find you under it. A separate board, a separate listing and a clear inspection promise are the difference.

  • The consultant is the relationship, not the showroom

Families come back asking for a person by name. Putting the consultant's name and photograph on the follow-up and the delivery folder makes that easy for them.

What we do

What we deliver for car dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. The identity manual read before anything is printed

What the brand sets for signage, colours and layouts, and where the dealership's own name may sit, collected from your regional office.

Result: Nothing is reprinted after a call from the brand office.

  2. A delivery worth describing

How the car is presented, who hands over the keys, the photograph, the folder that goes with it and the call the next morning.

Result: The delivery afternoon becomes a recommendation.

  3. A delivery folder that stays in the car

Invoice, insurance, warranty, service schedule and the numbers for the consultant and the workshop, in one printed folder.

Result: Your name is in the glovebox for years.

  4. A separate identity for pre-owned

A name, a board, an inspection promise and its own listing and photographs for the used car yard.

Result: Pre-owned buyers know who stands behind the car.

  5. The consultant made findable

Name, photograph and number on the follow-up messages, the quotation and the delivery folder.

Result: Families return asking for a person.

  6. One standard across branches

The same greeting, the same quotation format and the same delivery routine at every showroom you run.

Result: A customer meets the same dealership at any branch.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for car dealers

  1. 1

    Assess

We trace leads from each source through first call, test drive, booking and delivery, and check each branch profile and its reviews.

  2. 2

    Fix the first call

A response routine and ownership rule for every lead source, recorded in the dealership CRM.

  3. 3

    Follow up after the visit

Calls and WhatsApp messages planned around quotes, finance approval, exchange valuation and delivery dates.

  4. 4

    Bring buyers in

Local campaigns by model and branch, festival campaigns, workshop upgrade offers and corporate outreach.

  5. 5

    Keep the owner

Delivery follow-up, a review ask, service reminders and an upgrade offer when the car ages.

Proof

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How much can we put our own name on things?
Whatever the identity manual allows, which generally covers the dealership footer, the paperwork, the vehicles and your own local advertising. Get the current manual from your regional office before reprinting anything. Approvals take days, so ask early.
Is it worth branding the used car business separately?
If it has its own yard and staff, yes. Pre-owned buyers compare organised platforms and want to know who stands behind the car. A separate name, board and inspection promise gives them something to hold on to.
Can a dealer run its own ads when the manufacturer controls the brand?
Yes, within the manufacturer's dealer advertising guidelines, which usually cover logos, pricing claims and approved creatives. Many brands also share co-op advertising budgets, so we plan local campaigns to fit those rules and claims.
Why do our portal leads convert so poorly?
Usually because the buyer submitted the same form to several dealers and the first one to call wins. Speed and a clear on-road price on the first call matter more than anything else here.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
