Coaching centres and tutors · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the exam and the locality before the results are announced.

Search engine optimisation for a coaching centre decides which institute a parent finds when she searches for a class, an exam and an area. GullySales builds a page for each batch you actually run, separates parent searches from students hunting free notes, and gets them ranking before results week.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For coaching centres and tutors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • A page that starts ranking in June is a year late

Admissions are decided in a fortnight and a new page takes months to be trusted. The work belongs in the term, when nobody is enquiring.

  • A syllabus search is not an admission

Question papers, syllabus changes and answer keys bring enormous traffic from students with no fee to pay. The parent's search has a locality in it.

  • Class, board and area belong in the same heading

A page headed tuition classes competes with everybody. A page headed Class 10 CBSE maths tuition in your own area competes with four centres.

  • You will not take the exam name from the chains

National institutes have spent years on the plain entrance keyword. The version with your suburb in it is still winnable and brings families who can reach you.

What we do

What we deliver for coaching centres and tutors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for every batch you actually run

Timings, the teacher, the board or exam, how the fee is structured and a demo booking, on a page per batch rather than a course list.

Result: A parent finds the batch her child needs, with its start date.

  2. Locality wording in the title and the heading

The area a family would say out loud, used in the page title and first heading and matched to the Business Profile for that branch.

Result: A search with an area in it finds the right branch.

  3. Search terms split between parents and students

Every phrase marked as a fee-paying parent's search or a student's study query, so effort goes to the pages that fill batches.

Result: You stop writing for an audience that cannot enrol.

  4. A build calendar working back from results week

Pages written and published during the term so they have months of standing before the fortnight when families decide.

Result: The pages are already ranking when the rush starts.

  5. Result and selection claims checked before publishing

Any rank, score or selection on a page evidenced, used with the student's written consent, and read by your own adviser against current coaching advertisement rules.

Result: Nothing on the site is a claim you would have to withdraw.

  6. Position and enquiries reported by course page

Where each batch page sits and what it produced, set against the enquiry baseline recorded before work started.

Result: You can see which course page is worth expanding.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for coaching centres and tutors

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how enquiries arrive in admission season, how fast they are answered, how many demo attendees join, and how your centre shows up for each course search.

  2. 2

    Fix the admission reply

A routine and a named counsellor for every enquiry, with quick replies ready for the post-results rush.

  3. 3

    Build course pages and proof

A page per course and exam, teacher profiles, lesson clips and consented reviews, kept within the current rules on coaching advertisements.

  4. 4

    Bring students in

Local search, admission season ads, scholarship tests, school seminars and referrals from past families.

  5. 5

    Convert and keep them

Demo and counselling follow-up, fee instalment reminders, and attendance flags that trigger a parent call before a student drops out.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How long before a course page starts bringing enquiries?
Several months for a competitive exam page, sooner for a narrow one naming a class, a board and a locality. Start in the term, not in results week. Ads cover the gap for a batch you need to fill now.
Should we publish articles about the exam syllabus?
Only a few, and know what they are for. They bring students, build a name among aspirants and rarely produce a paid admission by themselves. The batch pages and the locality pages are what parents search on.
Can we still use topper results in our advertising?
Carefully. The Ministry of Education's coaching guidelines and consumer protection authorities both act against misleading rank and selection claims. Any result you show must be real, checkable and used with the student's consent. We lean on teaching proof and check the current rules with you before a campaign goes live.
How do we compete with the national coaching brands?
On things they cannot offer: smaller batches, a teacher the parent can meet, and a centre close to home. We make those visible in local search and in the demo class follow-up, rather than trying to outspend them on ads.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
