Coaching centres and tutors · Pay per click advertising

Buy the weeks after results, not twelve months of exam keywords.

Pay per click advertising for a coaching centre buys attention in the short window when families are choosing, which is the weeks after board and entrance results. GullySales narrows the ads to the area your students travel from, keeps free-material hunters out of the account, and sends every click to a booking.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend daily against enquiries received.

For coaching centres and tutors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Nearly all of it belongs to two windows

Results and the weeks schools reopen carry the admissions. A campaign left running in October spends on students browsing between classes.

  • Free material hunters will drain the account

Downloads, answer keys, solved papers and free online tests are typed by people who have never paid for a class. Those words have to be blocked, not bid on.

  • The chains own the exam name, you own the radius

Set the campaign to the few kilometres a child can travel after school. A click from the far side of the city is money spent on somebody who will never attend.

  • A test slot is an easier ask than an admission

A parent will book a scholarship test or a diagnostic on a first click. Asking the same click for an admission enquiry gets far fewer of them.

What we do

What we deliver for coaching centres and tutors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Campaigns built per exam and per area

One campaign for each batch worth filling, with a radius drawn around the schools and localities your current students come from.

Result: Spend stays inside the area you can actually teach.

  2. A blocked-word list for free material

Notes, papers, keys, solutions and free test phrases kept out of the account, reviewed every fortnight during the season.

Result: The budget reaches parents rather than downloaders.

  3. A booking page behind every campaign

A page for the demo class, the diagnostic or the scholarship test the campaign offers, with timings and the teacher on it.

Result: A click ends in a slot booked, not a brochure.

  4. Ads scheduled to the counselling desk

Hours set so ads run when somebody who can answer a fee question is actually at the desk, with a WhatsApp option outside them.

    Result: A results-day enquiry reaches a person.

  5. Calls and WhatsApp clicks tracked separately

A number used in advertising alone and a tagged WhatsApp link, so an enquiry can be traced back to the campaign that paid for it.

Result: You know which exam campaign produced the admission.

  6. Cost per admission reported by campaign

Spend against demos attended and fees collected for each batch, compared with the baseline agreed before the first ad ran.

Result: Next season's budget goes where it filled seats.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for coaching centres and tutors

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how enquiries arrive in admission season, how fast they are answered, how many demo attendees join, and how your centre shows up for each course search.

  2. 2

    Fix the admission reply

A routine and a named counsellor for every enquiry, with quick replies ready for the post-results rush.

  3. 3

    Build course pages and proof

A page per course and exam, teacher profiles, lesson clips and consented reviews, kept within the current rules on coaching advertisements.

  4. 4

    Bring students in

Local search, admission season ads, scholarship tests, school seminars and referrals from past families.

  5. 5

    Convert and keep them

Demo and counselling follow-up, fee instalment reminders, and attendance flags that trigger a parent call before a student drops out.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How much should we keep aside for the season?
Enough to stay visible for the whole results fortnight in your own area, rather than a thin amount stretched across the year. The figure is worked out in the free audit and written into the fee note beside your media spend.
Are YouTube ads worth it for entrance coaching?
They reach the aspirant, who is already watching lectures there, and not the parent who pays. Use them to fill a scholarship test or a free doubt session, then let the counsellor handle the fee conversation with the family.
Can we still use topper results in our advertising?
Carefully. The Ministry of Education's coaching guidelines and consumer protection authorities both act against misleading rank and selection claims. Any result you show must be real, checkable and used with the student's consent. We lean on teaching proof and check the current rules with you before a campaign goes live.
How do we compete with the national coaching brands?
On things they cannot offer: smaller batches, a teacher the parent can meet, and a centre close to home. We make those visible in local search and in the demo class follow-up, rather than trying to outspend them on ads.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
