Coaching centres and tutors · Reputation management

Fix what a parent reads about your centre in the week she is deciding.

Reputation management for a coaching centre is about the reviews and comments a parent reads before booking a demo, most of which appear during admission season. GullySales collects real reviews from families who stayed, answers fee and refund complaints properly, and keeps anything said about results inside the rules.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For coaching centres and tutors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Fee and refund complaints are the reviews you get

A parent who withdrew in month four writes at length. The parent whose child moved up two grades tells one neighbour and posts nothing.

  • The one-star reviews arrive in the same fortnight each year

Unexplained ratings with no name and no detail turn up while admissions are open. Flag them, reply once and get on with collecting real ones.

  • Never reply about a child

A public answer that mentions a student's attendance, marks or behaviour is the worst minute of your season. Move it to a phone call in one line.

  • What you may claim about results is not settled

Coaching advertisement guidelines and consumer authorities are active on rank and selection claims. Hold written consent from the student and the parent, and have your own adviser read the wording.

What we do

What we deliver for coaching centres and tutors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Review asks timed to a moment parents feel

A request after a parent-teacher meeting, a completed term or a result the family is pleased with, sent by the counsellor who knows them.

Result: Ratings come from families who stayed, not only those who left.

  2. A reply rule agreed before the season

Who answers, within how long, and a line that acknowledges a complaint and moves it to a call without discussing any student.

Result: An angry review does not turn into a public argument.

  3. A watch list covering where parents look

Google, JustDial, UrbanPro and the pages where local parents discuss centres, checked on a set day each week during admissions.

Result: You learn about a review before a prospective parent does.

  4. A consent file for results and photographs

Written permission from each student and parent for any name, mark or picture used anywhere, kept with the date and what was permitted.

Result: Every claim on display has a paper behind it.

  5. Old and duplicate listings cleaned up

Abandoned profiles, closed branches and wrong numbers claimed or removed, so a search for your centre shows one current entry.

Result: A searching parent finds the right centre and the right number.

  6. Rating and review volume in the monthly report

New reviews, average rating and reply time read next to demo bookings, against the baseline recorded before work started.

Result: You can see when reputation is costing you visits.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for coaching centres and tutors

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how enquiries arrive in admission season, how fast they are answered, how many demo attendees join, and how your centre shows up for each course search.

  2. 2

    Fix the admission reply

A routine and a named counsellor for every enquiry, with quick replies ready for the post-results rush.

  3. 3

    Build course pages and proof

A page per course and exam, teacher profiles, lesson clips and consented reviews, kept within the current rules on coaching advertisements.

  4. 4

    Bring students in

Local search, admission season ads, scholarship tests, school seminars and referrals from past families.

  5. 5

    Convert and keep them

Demo and counselling follow-up, fee instalment reminders, and attendance flags that trigger a parent call before a student drops out.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

A parent who left mid-year has posted a bad review. Can we get it removed?
Only if it breaks the platform's rules, and the platform decides. Reply once, briefly, offering a call and naming nobody. Then ask ten current families for a review, because volume moves the rating faster than argument does.
How do we get reviews when parents never get round to it?
Ask in person, at the moment they are pleased, and hand over a phone or a link that opens the review box directly. A counsellor who asks after a parent-teacher meeting gets more than a broadcast message ever will.
Can we still use topper results in our advertising?
Carefully. The Ministry of Education's coaching guidelines and consumer protection authorities both act against misleading rank and selection claims. Any result you show must be real, checkable and used with the student's consent. We lean on teaching proof and check the current rules with you before a campaign goes live.
How do we compete with the national coaching brands?
On things they cannot offer: smaller batches, a teacher the parent can meet, and a centre close to home. We make those visible in local search and in the demo class follow-up, rather than trying to outspend them on ads.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
