Corporate gifting and gift businesses · Email marketing

Reach last year's buyer in July, before she writes a new brief.

Email for a gifting business is the channel the corporate buyer actually works in, where a proposal gets forwarded, an approval is recorded and a purchase order is raised. GullySales builds the account calendar and writes the mails that arrive before a brief goes out to five vendors.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For corporate gifting and gift businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The order is half decided before the brief is sent

By the time five vendors receive it, she has usually already spoken to one of them. Being that one is a mail sent in July.

  • Last year's buyer is the easiest order of the year

She has your invoice, her employees liked the hamper, and she has to do the whole thing again. Nobody writes to her until October.

  • Approvals live in the inbox

A proposal, a GST invoice and a purchase order all sit in mail. A quotation sent on WhatsApp cannot be attached to a file note.

  • Kits reorder without waiting for a festival

A company hiring in batches needs welcome kits every few months, and a short mail at the right time takes a repeat order with no competition.

What we do

What we deliver for corporate gifting and gift businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An account calendar for every past buyer

Each company's past orders, occasions, quantities, budget and contact person, with the month to write to them marked in advance.

Result: Last year's buyer hears from you before anybody else.

  2. The early-season mail to HR and admin teams

A July and August mail carrying the season's ranges, budget bands, lead times and a sample offer, written to be forwarded upwards.

Result: You are on the shortlist before the brief exists.

  3. A researched list of companies worth pursuing

Companies that look like the buyers you already serve, with the HR or admin contact found properly rather than bought in bulk.

Result: Outreach goes to people who buy in your quantities.

  4. Reorder mails for kits and events

Short notes timed to hiring batches, dealer meets and conference seasons, offering the same kit again at the agreed rate.

Result: Orders arrive outside the festival months.

  5. Consent and unsubscribes handled properly

Permission recorded, unsubscribes honoured and the corporate list kept apart from the retail one.

Result: Your mail keeps reaching the inbox.

  6. Opens, replies and briefs reported monthly

Which mails were opened and replied to, and which became a brief or a sample request, read against the position before the outreach began.

Result: You learn which month of writing actually works.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for corporate gifting and gift businesses

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where orders come from, how the year's revenue is spread, how briefs are answered and how many buyers return.

  2. 2

    Define who to chase

Ideal customer profiles, buyer personas and qualification criteria, so effort goes to companies that will order.

  3. 3

    Build the proposal kit

Proposals by budget and occasion, a vendor registration pack and sample terms, ready before the season.

  4. 4

    Start early

Prospecting and outreach months before Diwali and other occasions, plus year-round campaigns for kits and events.

  5. 5

    Keep the accounts

An account calendar and reactivation routine, so this year's buyer orders again next year.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is it worth buying a database of HR contacts?
No. A bought database is full of people who never asked to hear from you. The spam reports that follow push your later mails into junk folders, including the ones going to buyers who know you.
How often should we write to a corporate account?
Four or five times a year, timed to their occasions, and once more before the month they ordered in last time. A monthly newsletter of new products gets filed under promotions and stays there.
When should we start selling for Diwali?
Start conversations in July and send proposals by August. Many companies set their gifting budget and shortlist well before the festival, and late vendors compete only on price.
Should we send free samples?
Yes, to qualified briefs. Confirm budget, quantity, date and who decides before sending, and agree whether the sample is returned or adjusted against the order.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
