Corporate gifting and gift businesses · Digital marketing

Fill the eight months between one Diwali and the next.

Digital marketing for a gifting business puts you in front of HR teams before their occasion, and in front of shoppers before Rakhi and Diwali. GullySales sets what each channel is for, in which month the spend happens, and what each one has to produce.

A steam traction engine belted across a stackyard to a wooden threshing machine: the long flat belt taut between the flywheel and the drive pulley, the flywheel spinning, a straw elevator raking up off the far end, a full sack hanging on the sack spout, a corn stack half taken down behind and a water cart standing by

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For corporate gifting and gift businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Two different buyers, one warehouse

An HR manager reading LinkedIn at her desk and a shopper on Instagram before Rakhi have nothing in common except your stock.

  • The calendar is the strategy

Diwali from July, onboarding kits all year, dealer meets around conference season, New Year in November, Rakhi and Valentine's Day for the shop.

  • Onboarding kits are the steady half

A company hiring in batches orders welcome kits every few months without waiting for a festival. That is the revenue that stops December deciding your year.

  • Your photographs are the catalogue

Buyers cannot touch a product online, so the packaging shot, the branding close-up and the unboxing film are what the decision is made on.

What we do

What we deliver for corporate gifting and gift businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan for the corporate and retail sides

What search, LinkedIn, Instagram, IndiaMART and email are each meant to bring for each buyer, and which of them to stop paying for.

Result: Two audiences stop being served the same post.

  2. A gifting calendar covering the whole year

Occasion by occasion, when the searching starts, when outreach goes out and when the spend rises, from July through to the retail festivals.

Result: Work begins before the brief is written.

  3. A photography and video standard

Packaging, branding close-ups, hamper contents and an unboxing film shot to one standard for every range you actually hold.

Result: The same images work on the site, the proposal and the marketplace.

  4. Pages and proposals that match

Every occasion page on the site backed by a proposal format, so what a buyer reads online is what arrives in her inbox.

Result: The follow-up does not contradict the advert.

  5. A steady push for kits and events

Year-round outreach for onboarding kits, dealer meets and conferences, kept running while the festival campaigns are switched off.

Result: Quiet months carry orders of their own.

  6. One monthly view across every channel

Briefs, samples and orders by channel and by occasion, read against the figures recorded at the audit.

Result: Next year's budget is argued from evidence.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for corporate gifting and gift businesses

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where orders come from, how the year's revenue is spread, how briefs are answered and how many buyers return.

  2. 2

    Define who to chase

Ideal customer profiles, buyer personas and qualification criteria, so effort goes to companies that will order.

  3. 3

    Build the proposal kit

Proposals by budget and occasion, a vendor registration pack and sample terms, ready before the season.

  4. 4

    Start early

Prospecting and outreach months before Diwali and other occasions, plus year-round campaigns for kits and events.

  5. 5

    Keep the accounts

An account calendar and reactivation routine, so this year's buyer orders again next year.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

We do both corporate and retail. Should there be two websites?
One site with two clear routes is enough for most. The corporate pages need budgets, lead times and GST details. The retail pages need prices and delivery. Mixed on one page, they confuse both buyers.
Is LinkedIn worth the effort for gifting?
For corporate work, yes, because the HR and admin people who buy are there under their own names. Post the work you have done and use it for outreach. For the shop side it does very little.
When should we start selling for Diwali?
Start conversations in July and send proposals by August. Many companies set their gifting budget and shortlist well before the festival, and late vendors compete only on price.
Should we send free samples?
Yes, to qualified briefs. Confirm budget, quantity, date and who decides before sending, and agree whether the sample is returned or adjusted against the order.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
