Corporate gifting and gift businesses · Social media

Show three hundred hampers packed, not one styled on a table.

Social media for a gifting business is where an HR buyer sees that you can deliver at quantity, and where a shopper finds a personalised gift before Rakhi. GullySales builds the posting around real orders and the packing floor, and handles the enquiries that arrive as direct messages.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For corporate gifting and gift businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Quantity is the thing to prove

One beautiful hamper photographed on a table proves nothing. Four hundred boxes stacked and labelled for dispatch answers the only doubt an HR manager has.

  • LinkedIn is where the buyer is at work

Admin and HR people post under their own names and look at what suppliers have done. That calls for a different post from the Instagram one.

  • Rakhi and Diwali are two separate audiences

A shopper wants the gift and the price. A company wants the branding and the lead time. Posting one to both wastes the season.

  • The direct message is now a brief

Corporate enquiries arrive in Instagram messages as often as by mail, usually with a quantity and a date in the first line.

What we do

What we deliver for corporate gifting and gift businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Packing and dispatch content from real orders

Photographs and short films of batches being packed, branded and labelled for dispatch, with the client's name left out unless they have agreed.

Result: Buyers see that quantity is routine for you.

  2. LinkedIn posts written for HR and admin readers

The occasion, the quantity, the branding and the delivery window described plainly, posted in the weeks those teams are planning.

Result: The people who sign the order see the work.

  3. A retail calendar for the shop occasions

Rakhi, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, the wedding season and Diwali planned a month ahead with products and prices ready.

Result: The shop is visible before shoppers start buying.

  4. Reply rules for an enquiry in a direct message

A first reply asking quantity, date and budget per head, then moving the conversation to mail with a proposal attached.

Result: A message becomes a brief with a name on it.

  5. Unboxing films for each hamper range

Every hamper opened on camera so a buyer can see the contents, the packaging and the finish before asking for a sample.

Result: Fewer sample requests and quicker decisions.

  6. Enquiries and orders traced each month

Messages, briefs and orders that began on social, split between corporate and retail, weighed against what the accounts brought before.

Result: You know which side the posting is serving.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for corporate gifting and gift businesses

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where orders come from, how the year's revenue is spread, how briefs are answered and how many buyers return.

  2. 2

    Define who to chase

Ideal customer profiles, buyer personas and qualification criteria, so effort goes to companies that will order.

  3. 3

    Build the proposal kit

Proposals by budget and occasion, a vendor registration pack and sample terms, ready before the season.

  4. 4

    Start early

Prospecting and outreach months before Diwali and other occasions, plus year-round campaigns for kits and events.

  5. 5

    Keep the accounts

An account calendar and reactivation routine, so this year's buyer orders again next year.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

  • France Fox

    Situation
Eco claims are common enough in menswear that buyers discount them on sight. France Fox had a real production story and nowhere to set it out, which is the wrong way round.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we post the gifts we made for a client?
Only with their permission, because a company's gifting plan is internal and sometimes confidential. Many will allow the product without the logo. Ask at the time of the order, while the relationship is good.
Instagram or LinkedIn for corporate gifting?
LinkedIn for the HR and admin buyer, Instagram for the shop and for showing craft. Packing and dispatch material works on both. Prices and personalisation offers belong on Instagram alone.
When should we start selling for Diwali?
Start conversations in July and send proposals by August. Many companies set their gifting budget and shortlist well before the festival, and late vendors compete only on price.
Should we send free samples?
Yes, to qualified briefs. Confirm budget, quantity, date and who decides before sending, and agree whether the sample is returned or adjusted against the order.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
