Corporate gifting and gift businesses · Search engine optimisation

Be found in August, while the Diwali brief is still being written.

SEO for a gifting business decides who an HR buyer finds when she searches corporate gifts in her city or a welcome kit for new joiners. GullySales builds a page for each occasion and budget band, and fixes the faults keeping those pages out of the results.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For corporate gifting and gift businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Buyers search by occasion, not by product

Nobody types promotional merchandise. They type Diwali gift for employees, joining kit, dealer meet gift, and each of those is a page with a different budget behind it.

  • The budget per head is inside the search

Corporate gifts under five hundred, hampers under a thousand. A page organised the way a procurement team thinks is the one that gets the brief.

  • The searching starts two months before the order

An HR manager looks in August for something she will buy in October. A page that only starts ranking in September has missed the shortlist.

  • Retail and corporate cannot share a page

Somebody buying one birthday gift and somebody buying three hundred hampers arrive on the same words. Separate pages stop each of them spoiling the other.

What we do

What we deliver for corporate gifting and gift businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each occasion you supply

Diwali hampers, onboarding and welcome kits, dealer meet merchandise, client appreciation, year-end gifts and the retail occasions, each written for the person who buys it.

Result: A brief written for that occasion lands on the matching page.

  2. Budget band pages the way procurement thinks

Pages grouped by spend per head, showing what is possible at each level, the branding options and the minimum quantity.

Result: A buyer with a fixed per head figure sees what she can get.

  3. City and delivery pages for the markets you serve

Where you are, where you deliver, the lead time to each city and how branding time changes it.

Result: A buyer in another city can tell whether you can reach her.

  4. Product pages built around branding and lead time

Each product family written with print and engraving options, the minimum order, the branding turnaround and what the packaging looks like.

Result: The specification questions get answered before the call.

  5. A technical check of the catalogue site

Load speed with hundreds of product images, broken filters, and pages a search engine cannot read because they sit behind a login or inside a PDF.

Result: The catalogue you already built can be found.

  6. Positions and briefs reported every month

Where each occasion page sits, the briefs traced back to it and the month they arrived in, read against the position recorded at the start.

Result: You can see which occasion page is producing work.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

How the work runs for corporate gifting and gift businesses

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where orders come from, how the year's revenue is spread, how briefs are answered and how many buyers return.

  2. 2

    Define who to chase

Ideal customer profiles, buyer personas and qualification criteria, so effort goes to companies that will order.

  3. 3

    Build the proposal kit

Proposals by budget and occasion, a vendor registration pack and sample terms, ready before the season.

  4. 4

    Start early

Prospecting and outreach months before Diwali and other occasions, plus year-round campaigns for kits and events.

  5. 5

    Keep the accounts

An account calendar and reactivation routine, so this year's buyer orders again next year.

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

When should our Diwali pages be live?
By June, so they have settled before HR teams start searching in August. Pages published in September rank after the orders are placed. Those same pages then carry hamper enquiries from smaller buyers all year.
We sell five hundred products. Do we need a page for each?
No. Write pages for the occasions and budgets people search, and let the products sit under them. Five hundred thin product pages compete with one another and none of them ranks.
When should we start selling for Diwali?
Start conversations in July and send proposals by August. Many companies set their gifting budget and shortlist well before the festival, and late vendors compete only on price.
Should we send free samples?
Yes, to qualified briefs. Confirm budget, quantity, date and who decides before sending, and agree whether the sample is returned or adjusted against the order.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
