Corporate gifting and gift businesses · Lead generation

Know in two questions whether a brief is real or a price check.

Lead generation for a gifting business is the brief arriving from an HR or admin team and turning into an approved sample and a purchase order. GullySales sets the qualifying questions asked before samples are prepared, and the follow-up that runs from the first brief to the purchase order.

A sorting hopper in a depot yard: a wide gold hopper on a steel frame, its throat splitting into three chutes that feed three floor bins, one heaped past its own spout, one half caught, one barely started

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For corporate gifting and gift businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The same brief went to five vendors

She found you and four others in one search. The first clear proposal with a sample on the desk wins, and the largest catalogue loses.

  • Samples are the expensive part of a lead

Courier, branding and a slot in production go into every one. Sending them before the quantity and the budget are known is how a season's margin disappears.

  • The person who asks rarely signs

An admin executive collects quotes for a manager who holds the budget and a procurement team who holds the process. Your proposal has to survive being forwarded twice.

  • A price check looks exactly like a brief

A company that has already chosen a vendor still collects three quotes. Two questions about the date and the approval tell you which one you are.

What we do

What we deliver for corporate gifting and gift businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Qualifying questions asked before a sample moves

Quantity, budget per head, delivery date, branding needs, who approves and whether a vendor is already shortlisted, settled in the first reply.

Result: Samples go to buyers who can actually place an order.

  2. A proposal format built by budget and occasion

Ready layouts for the common per head bands with photographs, branding options, lead times and delivery terms, adapted to a brief within a day.

Result: She gets something she can forward to her manager.

  3. Sample dispatch tracked to a decision

Every sample recorded with the company, the contact, what was sent and what it cost, with a call two days after it lands.

Result: No sample leaves the building and disappears.

  4. The vendor registration pack kept ready

GST and PAN details, MSME registration, bank details, company profile and references held as one set for procurement portals.

Result: A portal form cannot stall the order in its last week.

  5. One log for search, marketplace, referral and walk-in briefs

Every brief recorded with its source, its occasion and the person following it up, instead of sitting in somebody's personal inbox.

Result: The October rush does not bury a brief worth lakhs.

  6. Brief to purchase order reported monthly

Briefs by source, replies inside a day, samples sent, orders won and the average value, measured against the figures taken before the work began.

Result: You can see where the season's orders came from.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

How the work runs for corporate gifting and gift businesses

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where orders come from, how the year's revenue is spread, how briefs are answered and how many buyers return.

  2. 2

    Define who to chase

Ideal customer profiles, buyer personas and qualification criteria, so effort goes to companies that will order.

  3. 3

    Build the proposal kit

Proposals by budget and occasion, a vendor registration pack and sample terms, ready before the season.

  4. 4

    Start early

Prospecting and outreach months before Diwali and other occasions, plus year-round campaigns for kits and events.

  5. 5

    Keep the accounts

An account calendar and reactivation routine, so this year's buyer orders again next year.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we send free samples?
To qualified briefs, yes. Confirm the quantity, the budget per head, the date and who approves, then agree whether the sample comes back or is adjusted against the order. A vendor who samples everybody is funding his rivals' shortlists.
How do we handle a brief that arrives three weeks before Diwali?
Answer with what you can genuinely deliver in the time, not with everything you sell. Branding has a lead time. A buyer told the truth in October is a buyer who writes to you in July.
When should we start selling for Diwali?
Start conversations in July and send proposals by August. Many companies set their gifting budget and shortlist well before the festival, and late vendors compete only on price.
Is IndiaMART useful for corporate gifting?
It brings many enquiries, but many are price checks from small buyers. A fast reply and a qualification question or two sort the serious briefs from the rest.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
