Diagnostic centres · Digital marketing

Fix the Maps listing and the package pages before you spend anything on Instagram.

Digital marketing for a diagnostic centre is the set of online channels that bring people to book a scan, a test or a check-up: Google Maps, the website, search ads, WhatsApp and referral tracking. GullySales puts them in the order that suits your capacity and records which channel filled which department.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

Last updated 6 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For diagnostic centres

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Instagram first, bookings last”

Centres start posting for every health day while the Maps listing shows the wrong hours. Someone holding a prescription searches. Very few of them scroll.

  • “One budget spread across every department”

Money is split evenly while the MRI sits idle in the afternoon and pathology is full by ten. Online spend should follow the machine with spare capacity.

  • “Nobody can tell which channel worked”

Bookings are counted at the till and not by source. Without a source field at registration, every channel claims the same patients.

What we do

What we deliver for diagnostic centres.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel order agreed in the audit

Which channel gets work first, based on where your patients come from now and which department has room.

Result: Money goes to the foundations before the extras.

  2. Business Profiles fixed for every branch

Categories, hours, services and photos corrected for each branch before any ad money is spent.

Result: The free channel is working before the paid ones start.

  3. Scan and package pages that take bookings

Pages for the studies and packages you most want to sell, each with a call button, a WhatsApp link and a booking form.

Result: Every channel has somewhere useful to send people.

  4. Search ads for the department with spare slots

A focused campaign for the scan or package with capacity, paused when those slots fill.

Result: Paid clicks fill empty slots instead of crowding a full one.

  5. One source question at registration

A question asked of every patient and recorded from a fixed list: Google, Maps, doctor, WhatsApp, camp or family.

Result: You see which channel brings each department its patients.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where to start for this trade

The order a diagnostic centre should take its online channels in, and what to record for each.

Google Business Profile for each branch
First job: the real hours, including early collection, and the scans each branch runs. Record calls and direction requests from the profile before and after the change.
A page per scan and package
Next, pages for the studies and packages you most want to sell, with the preparation and a booking route. Record which page each booking enquiry came from.
WhatsApp for bookings and reports
Then one business number with templates for preparation and report delivery. Record enquiries that arrive on WhatsApp by the test asked about.
Search ads for one department
After that, ads for the scan or package with spare slots, with job and price-only searches blocked. Record booked slots per campaign, not clicks.
Doctor and company as sources
Add the referring doctor and the employer to the registration form. Record which doctors and offices send patients and which have gone quiet.
What to leave until later
Reels, influencer posts, health-day graphics and display banners. Someone with a prescription is not looking for them. Start once the channels above are booking patients.

Who it is for

This is written for these diagnostic centres.

  • Standalone diagnostic centres with pathology and imaging
  • Diagnostic centres inside or beside a hospital
  • Multi-branch diagnostic chains
  • Diagnostic centres that run corporate camps
  • Centres with a strong health check-up business
  • Centres serving senior citizens and families

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for diagnostic centres

  1. 1

Listen to how a patient moves between departments

The free audit call traces where enquiries come from, who answers them and what a single-test caller hears about everything else.

  2. 2

Join the departments at the front door

One enquiry route, one sheet and a log that shows which package or test was asked about.

  3. 3

    Make the packages findable

A page for each package, a Business Profile that shows the range and reviews asked for after a smooth visit.

  4. 4

Reach clinics and corporates with one offer

A sheet for referrers and a single proposal for corporates.

  5. 5

    Report on packages, not activity

A report on enquiries, packages sold and returning patients, against the baseline taken before anything changed.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should our front-office team handle digital marketing themselves?
They can run the Maps listing, reply to reviews and answer WhatsApp, because they know the patients. Search ads and the website need someone who works on them daily, in-house or outside. Keep every account in the centre's own name.
With a small budget, which channel should come first?
The Google Business Profile, because it costs time rather than money and people looking for a scan nearby search Maps. Then the scan and package pages. Ads come after, and only for the department with free slots.
How can we tell which channel worked without buying software?
Add one question at registration, how did you hear about us, with a fixed list of answers, and total it from your billing records. Compare that with what each channel cost. An honest register at the desk beats a dashboard nobody fills in.
Do we still need ads if our search pages are working?
For steady demand such as routine blood tests, perhaps not. For a new machine, a new branch or a slow department, ads bring patients while the pages build up. Send both to the same pages so the results can be compared.
Why not market each department on its own?
Because the patient sees one centre. A single answer at the front door and a package that spans departments sell more than three separate pitches, and are easier to refer to.
Can we discount packages?
Packages are priced in the market and a clear price helps families compare. Inducements and discounts on health services may be restricted, and the position differs by state and changes. Your adviser should confirm anything promotional.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
