GullySales

Ecommerce and D2C brands · Lead generation

Answer the buyer who asked for a line sheet back in March.

A D2C brand's leads are the retailer wanting a line sheet, the buyer ordering two hundred units for a conference, and the email address captured before a first order. GullySales builds the route each of them arrives by, and the follow-up that nobody has time for.

A sorting hopper in a depot yard: a wide gold hopper on a steel frame, its throat splitting into three chutes that feed three floor bins, one heaped past its own spout, one half caught, one barely started

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For ecommerce and D2C brands

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The lead nobody works sits in the shared inbox

A buyer from a regional chain asks for wholesale terms and gets an automated reply about order tracking. The whole team is pointed at paid social.

  • A gifting order is a quote, not a checkout

Five hundred units with a logo on them needs a price break, a lead time and a proof. None of that exists anywhere on your product page.

  • The email address is the only lead you keep

The ad platform and the marketplace both rent you the customer. An address given up before the first order survives a fee rise and an algorithm change.

  • Trade shows and Faire produce names, not orders

A stack of cards is worthless by the following Friday if nobody calls. Wholesale pays on the reorder, and reorders come from being chased.

What we do

What we deliver for ecommerce and D2C brands.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A line sheet and written wholesale terms

Minimums, case packs, margin, lead times and payment terms in one document a buyer can take to her own boss without asking you three questions first.

Result: A wholesale enquiry gets an answer the same day.

  2. A wholesale enquiry route of its own

A separate address and form that stays out of the customer service queue, with a named person answering it and a reply window agreed in writing.

Result: Buyers stop going quiet because nobody replied.

  3. A gifting quote format

Quantity breaks, logo application, proofing, lead time and shipping set out in a standard quote, ready to send instead of written from scratch each time.

Result: Corporate orders get an answer while the budget is open.

  4. Email and text capture with consent recorded

Capture placed where it does not cost you the sale, with express written consent for texts stored in a form your counsel can review.

Result: The list grows out of traffic you already paid for.

  5. A buyer outreach list and a calling rhythm

Independent retailers by region and category, approached before their buying season, with every account followed to a second order rather than a first.

Result: Wholesale becomes a line you can forecast.

  6. One register for every trade enquiry

Each wholesale and gifting approach logged with its source, what was quoted, how long the reply took and what happened next, read every Friday.

Result: You can see what a slow inbox cost you.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these ecommerce and D2C brands.

  • Single-product and founder-led D2C brands
  • Apparel, footwear and accessories brands
  • Beauty, skincare and personal care brands
  • Supplements, food and beverage brands
  • Home goods, furniture and higher-value considered purchases
  • Subscription and replenishment brands
  • Brands selling on Amazon and their own Shopify store
  • Wholesale-first brands building a direct channel
  • Brands past their first million with no in-house marketing team

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for ecommerce and D2C brands

  1. 1

    Work out the actual numbers

The free audit call goes through cost of goods, shipping, returns and ad spend against orders, and tells you what your first order is really worth.

  2. 2

    Stop the losses first

The flows that were never built, the product page that loses the order, and the line coming back in a returns bag. None of this needs more media spend.

  3. 3

    Feed the channels properly

A steady supply of creative, a clean product feed, and marketplace listings that match the quality of your own site.

  4. 4

    Open the second revenue line

Wholesale, bulk and gifting enquiries answered and chased, with line sheets and terms ready instead of being written each time from scratch.

  5. 5

Report on contribution, not on ROAS

A monthly report on what each channel and cohort left behind after costs, set against the baseline recorded before the work began.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Does selling wholesale undercut our own site?
It does when a retailer discounts and you do nothing about it. Set a minimum advertised price, write it into the terms and check it monthly. Most brands decide the shelf space is worth more than the margin they give up.
A company wants four hundred branded units. Where do we start?
With the date. Gifting runs on an event, and the lead time decides whether the order is possible at all. Ask for the date, the quantity and the logo file before you quote anything.
Our agency reports 4x ROAS and we are still losing money. Which is right?
Both, in a sense, which is the problem. Platform ROAS counts revenue the platform believes it caused, before cost of goods, shipping, fees and returns. Contribution margin counts what was left. We rebuild the second number from your own data in the audit, and it is usually the first honest conversation a brand has had in a year.
Who would actually run our ad accounts?
The same people you meet on the audit call, with no account managers in between. Overlap hours with your day are agreed in writing before anything starts, which matters most around a launch or a peak weekend.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
