Educational institutions · Branding

Stand for something a parent can repeat to another parent.

Branding for a school or institute is what a parent says about you to a neighbour, carried by the uniform, the prospectus and the name on the gate. GullySales settles what the institution stands for, then builds the identity and the prospectus that say it consistently.

A sign-painter's bench: a shop sign on a low easel lettered as far as its last character, which is still only pencilled in, a mahl stick laid across the work, open tins of paint on the floor and a finished sign hanging from its iron bracket above

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For educational institutions

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Half the schools in your city share your name

Most Indian cities hold several institutions with the same saint, founder or virtue in the name, so the mark and the wording have to do the separating.

  • A coaching institute's brand is its faculty

Students choose on who teaches, so the identity has to carry named teachers and their subjects rather than a slogan about excellence.

  • The prospectus is read after the visit, by the father

It is the document that goes home and gets compared with two others, and a badly produced one loses a decision the campus visit had won.

What we do

What we deliver for educational institutions.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A positioning statement the staff agree on

One page stating what the institution is for, which parent it suits and what it does not claim, agreed with the management.

Result: The office, the desk and the prospectus say the same thing.

  2. A mark that works on a gate and a bus

A logo and wordmark that reproduce on a uniform badge, a bus panel, a board at the gate and a small screen.

Result: The school is recognisable wherever a parent sees it.

  3. A prospectus built for comparison

Fee structure, board, transport, faculty and facilities laid out in the order a parent actually compares them.

Result: Your prospectus survives the kitchen table comparison.

  4. Uniform, signage and bus guidance

Colours, badge placement and signage rules written down so a new supplier does not drift from the last batch.

Result: Everything on the campus looks like one institution.

  5. Wording that stays inside what you can claim

Approved language for affiliation, results and facilities, checked against what your own records evidence.

Result: Nobody in the office promises what the school cannot show.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these educational institutions.

  • Pre-schools and play schools
  • CBSE and ICSE schools
  • State board schools
  • Coaching institutes for competitive exams
  • Degree colleges
  • Vocational and skill-training institutes
  • Ed-tech linked hybrid learning centres
  • Multi-branch tutorial chains

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for educational institutions

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your Google Business Profile, your reply time on calls and WhatsApp during the last admissions window, your reviews, and where enquiries dropped off.

  2. 2

Fix the profile and the reply

Google Business Profile completed for the correct locality and board, a same-day reply routine the admissions desk can follow, and a record of every enquiry.

  3. 3

    Build the admissions pages

A clear page for fees, board affiliation, transport and the next open house, written for the questions a parent actually types.

  4. 4

Bring enquiries in during the window

Local search, genuine parent reviews, and advertising timed to the weeks before your admission deadline, not spread thin across the year.

  5. 5

Keep the seat and the referral

A welcome sequence for new admissions, a referral ask at the right moment, and a record you can use to plan next year's window.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we call ourselves the best school in the area?
It is a claim you would have to support if challenged, and a parent discounts it anyway. Say what is specific and verifiable, such as your board, your class sizes and your transport. Your affiliation is yours to protect, so let the management approve claim wording.
Our institute is known by our founder's name. Should that change?
Not if parents already use it. For coaching especially, the teacher's name is the reason students enrol. Build the identity around it, and plan for what the institute says if that person is no longer teaching.
How soon would admissions enquiries pick up?
Fixing your reply time and Google Business Profile helps within the current admissions window, because the searches are already happening. Ranking for a search such as CBSE school near a locality takes longer, often a full admissions cycle.
Do we need to advertise?
A faster reply and a complete profile cost nothing in media, and a parent is already searching by board and locality before any advertisement runs. Advertising makes sense closer to the admission deadline, when a specific number of seats still needs to be filled.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
