Educational institutions · Reputation management

Parents choose on what other parents wrote about your school.

Reputation management for a school or institute covers reviews written by parents, comments about fees or bus safety, and what circulates in neighbourhood groups. GullySales sets up monitoring, a reply approach that protects the child's privacy, and a review ask timed to orientation.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For educational institutions

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • You cannot reply the way a shop would

A complaint about a child cannot be answered with the details, because the child's privacy comes first, so the public reply has to invite the parent in instead.

  • Old reviews read as a school that stopped caring

Forty reviews from three years ago and no replies tells a parent scrolling on a phone that nothing has happened since.

  • The bus is where reputation is actually decided

Comments about a driver, a route or an attendant travel through parent groups faster than anything on the website, and they decide admissions in that area.

What we do

What we deliver for educational institutions.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Monitoring of reviews and parent forums

Maps reviews, Facebook comments and the local parent pages checked weekly, with anything about safety raised the same day.

Result: Nothing about your school sits unseen for a month.

  2. A reply approach that protects the child

Written guidance for replying publicly without confirming a child's identity or details, and for moving the conversation to a meeting.

Result: You answer without creating a second problem.

  3. Review asks at orientation and events

The request made at orientation, annual day and parent meetings, when a parent's view of the school is strongest.

Result: Recent reviews keep arriving through the year.

  4. A named person answering reviews

One person in the office responsible for reading and replying, with drafts approved by the principal before posting.

Result: Replies are consistent and never written in anger.

  5. A record of complaints and what was done

Every complaint logged with the action taken and the date, whether it came publicly or at the gate.

Result: A repeated complaint is fixed rather than answered again.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for educational institutions

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your Google Business Profile, your reply time on calls and WhatsApp during the last admissions window, your reviews, and where enquiries dropped off.

  2. 2

Fix the profile and the reply

Google Business Profile completed for the correct locality and board, a same-day reply routine the admissions desk can follow, and a record of every enquiry.

  3. 3

    Build the admissions pages

A clear page for fees, board affiliation, transport and the next open house, written for the questions a parent actually types.

  4. 4

Bring enquiries in during the window

Local search, genuine parent reviews, and advertising timed to the weeks before your admission deadline, not spread thin across the year.

  5. 5

Keep the seat and the referral

A welcome sequence for new admissions, a referral ask at the right moment, and a record you can use to plan next year's window.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

A parent posted a complaint about a teacher. How do we reply?
Publicly, briefly, and without any detail about the child or the staff member. Say you take it seriously and invite the parent to meet the principal. The reader you are writing for is the next parent, not the complainant.
Can we ask our staff and students to post reviews?
No. Reviews from staff are visible for what they are, and they damage trust when noticed. Ask parents, at a moment when they are pleased, and accept a slower trickle.
How soon would admissions enquiries pick up?
Fixing your reply time and Google Business Profile helps within the current admissions window, because the searches are already happening. Ranking for a search such as CBSE school near a locality takes longer, often a full admissions cycle.
Do we need to advertise?
A faster reply and a complete profile cost nothing in media, and a parent is already searching by board and locality before any advertisement runs. Advertising makes sense closer to the admission deadline, when a specific number of seats still needs to be filled.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
