Educational institutions · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the board and the locality a parent types in January.

Search engine optimisation (SEO) for a school or institute decides whether you appear when a parent searches by board, class and locality during the admissions window. GullySales builds the pages that answer fees, affiliation and transport, and fixes the technical faults keeping them out of results.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For educational institutions

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The search almost always carries a board and an area

Parents type things like ICSE schools in a named locality, so a page headed about us cannot match what they are asking.

  • The fee page is the one nobody publishes

Fee structure is the most searched question about any school and the least often answered, which leaves the ranking to review sites and forums.

  • The window is short, so the pages must be old

Search positions take months to build, and a page published in February is still climbing when the admissions rush ends in June.

What we do

What we deliver for educational institutions.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each board, stream and class group

Separate pages for pre-primary, primary, the boards you are affiliated to and each stream or course, instead of one combined academics page.

Result: A parent searching a board and a class lands on the right page.

  2. Fees, transport and admission pages written plainly

Fee structure, bus routes and stops, the admission process and the documents required, each set out on its own page.

Result: A parent gets the answer without calling the desk.

  3. Locality wording on the admission pages

The areas your buses actually cover named in titles and headings, matched to how parents describe them.

Result: Parents in your catchment find you first.

  4. Site faults cleared before the window opens

Page speed, broken admission forms and missing headings fixed, since most school sites carry heavy photo galleries and old event pages.

Result: A well-written admission page is no longer blocked by a slow site.

  5. A monthly search report by page

Position and enquiries for each admission page every month, set against what was recorded at the audit.

Result: You can see which page is bringing parents in.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for educational institutions

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your Google Business Profile, your reply time on calls and WhatsApp during the last admissions window, your reviews, and where enquiries dropped off.

  2. 2

Fix the profile and the reply

Google Business Profile completed for the correct locality and board, a same-day reply routine the admissions desk can follow, and a record of every enquiry.

  3. 3

    Build the admissions pages

A clear page for fees, board affiliation, transport and the next open house, written for the questions a parent actually types.

  4. 4

Bring enquiries in during the window

Local search, genuine parent reviews, and advertising timed to the weeks before your admission deadline, not spread thin across the year.

  5. 5

Keep the seat and the referral

A welcome sequence for new admissions, a referral ask at the right moment, and a record you can use to plan next year's window.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How long before we rank for our locality?
Usually a full admissions cycle for the competitive board and area searches. Narrower pages, such as a specific course or a bus route, move within a few months. Start well before the window opens.
Can we publish our fee structure?
Most schools can, and the ones that do are chosen more often because the parent is not left guessing. Check what your board's affiliation conditions and your management allow before publishing, since that approval is yours to give.
How soon would admissions enquiries pick up?
Fixing your reply time and Google Business Profile helps within the current admissions window, because the searches are already happening. Ranking for a search such as CBSE school near a locality takes longer, often a full admissions cycle.
Do we need to advertise?
A faster reply and a complete profile cost nothing in media, and a parent is already searching by board and locality before any advertisement runs. Advertising makes sense closer to the admission deadline, when a specific number of seats still needs to be filled.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
