Educational institutions · Local SEO

Appear on Maps for the areas your school bus actually reaches.

Local SEO puts your school or institute on Google Maps for parents searching nearby, with the board, the classes and the admission dates visible. GullySales sets the categories and service areas to match your bus routes, corrects the pin and keeps recent photographs on the profile.

A market cross in a small town square: a stepped stone cross of four worn tiers standing in a ring of cobbles, a coil of stall rope left on the bottom step, a chalk pitch marked out on the stones and a chalk arrow pointing in from the nearest lane

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For educational institutions

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Your catchment is a bus route, not a radius

A school five kilometres away with a bus on a parent's road beats one two kilometres away without, so the areas listed should follow the routes.

  • Parents want to see the classroom and the bus

Profile photographs of an empty building at night tell a parent nothing, while a classroom, the playground and a bus with its number do.

  • The admission date belongs on the profile

A parent checking Maps in February wants to know when forms open and when the open house is, and a post on the profile answers it before a call.

What we do

What we deliver for educational institutions.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Categories set by what you run

Primary category matched to a school, pre-school, coaching centre or college, with secondary categories for the boards and courses you offer.

Result: The profile appears for the right kind of search.

  2. Service areas following the bus routes

The localities your transport actually covers listed on the profile, rather than a round radius around the gate.

Result: Parents on your routes find you.

  3. Photographs parents want to see

Classrooms, the laboratory, the playground, the bus fleet and the reception, photographed in daylight and refreshed each term.

Result: A parent decides to visit after looking.

  4. Admission dates posted on the profile

Open house dates, form availability and the fee deadline posted as updates through the window.

Result: A parent sees the date without ringing the office.

  5. One listing per campus

A separate, complete profile for each branch with its own address, photographs, hours and reviews.

Result: A parent is sent to the campus they searched for.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these educational institutions.

  • Pre-schools and play schools
  • CBSE and ICSE schools
  • State board schools
  • Coaching institutes for competitive exams
  • Degree colleges
  • Vocational and skill-training institutes
  • Ed-tech linked hybrid learning centres
  • Multi-branch tutorial chains

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for educational institutions

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your Google Business Profile, your reply time on calls and WhatsApp during the last admissions window, your reviews, and where enquiries dropped off.

  2. 2

Fix the profile and the reply

Google Business Profile completed for the correct locality and board, a same-day reply routine the admissions desk can follow, and a record of every enquiry.

  3. 3

    Build the admissions pages

A clear page for fees, board affiliation, transport and the next open house, written for the questions a parent actually types.

  4. 4

Bring enquiries in during the window

Local search, genuine parent reviews, and advertising timed to the weeks before your admission deadline, not spread thin across the year.

  5. 5

Keep the seat and the referral

A welcome sequence for new admissions, a referral ask at the right moment, and a record you can use to plan next year's window.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Does Maps matter when parents come by referral?
Yes, because the referred parent looks you up before visiting. Your listing is where they check the address, the photographs and the reviews. A thin profile undoes a good recommendation.
Should we list every branch separately?
Yes. Each campus needs its own profile, with its own address, photographs and reviews. Parents review a branch, not a trust, and one shared listing sends a family to the wrong gate.
How soon would admissions enquiries pick up?
Fixing your reply time and Google Business Profile helps within the current admissions window, because the searches are already happening. Ranking for a search such as CBSE school near a locality takes longer, often a full admissions cycle.
Do we need to advertise?
A faster reply and a complete profile cost nothing in media, and a parent is already searching by board and locality before any advertisement runs. Advertising makes sense closer to the admission deadline, when a specific number of seats still needs to be filled.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
