Electrical equipment manufacturers · Branding

A new make has to look safe to a consultant putting his name on it.

Branding for an electrical equipment maker is what the nameplate, the carton and the catalogue say about whether your product can be trusted inside a building for twenty years. GullySales settles the mark, the product naming, and the material a consultant and a dealer each need.

A sign-painter's bench: a shop sign on a low easel lettered as far as its last character, which is still only pencilled in, a mahl stick laid across the work, open tins of paint on the floor and a finished sign hanging from its iron bracket above

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For electrical equipment manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The consultant is risking his own reputation

He signs a make list that goes into a building for decades. Everything you print has to look like a company that will still be there.

  • Product naming is a numbering problem, not a logo problem

Series names invented by three engineers leave a dealer unable to say which MCB is which. One naming rule fixes more than new artwork.

  • The carton is read by the electrician, not the buyer

He opens it on site with a torch. Clear rating markings and a printed installation slip decide whether he asks for your brand again.

What we do

What we deliver for electrical equipment manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One naming rule across every series

A single system for series names, model codes and ratings, applied to the catalogue, the price list, the nameplate and the dealer's order sheet.

Result: A dealer orders the right item the first time.

  2. A nameplate and carton designed to be read on site

Ratings, standard, licence details and the service number set so an electrician with a torch can read them, with the installation slip inside.

Result: The person fitting it knows whose product it is.

  3. A technical catalogue a consultant can specify from

Ratings, dimensions, standards, test report references and drawings laid out in the order a specification is written rather than in sales order.

Result: Your catalogue survives the shortlist.

  4. Dealer counter material in the market's language

Shelf strips, display boards and rate cards in the language of each market, sized for a counter that already carries four other brands.

Result: Your brand is visible at the shop, not in a drawer.

  5. Site photography of installed work

Panels in a plant room, luminaires in a finished lobby and cables on a tray, photographed with permission and dated.

Result: Your proof looks like a project, not a product shot.

  6. One look across every piece a buyer sees

Catalogue, website, tender document, stall panels, vehicle branding and the letterhead that goes to a consultant, all working from one sheet.

Result: A buyer meets the same company everywhere.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for electrical equipment manufacturers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where your orders come from today: specifications, dealers, IndiaMART or tenders, and where specified projects are being lost to other brands.

  2. 2

    Fix the project follow-up

A tracker for every specified project and a rule for when sales calls the contractor, so a specification turns into a purchase order.

  3. 3

    Build the technical proof

Product pages with standards, test reports, drawings and photometric files, plus installed project stories a consultant can check.

  4. 4

Reach the specifiers and the trade

Consultant and architect outreach, dealer and electrician programmes, and search advertising for project buyers.

  5. 5

Keep the brand on the list

Regular contact with consultants who have specified you, after-sales support stories, and a check on every tender that drops your name.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a rebrand or better material?
Usually the material. Most manufacturers have a workable mark and a catalogue nobody can specify from. Fix the product pages, the nameplate and the counter material first, then judge the logo.
What may we print about our certification?
Only what your certificate covers, with the licence number where it belongs on the product and the packaging. How a mark may be shown is set by the terms of your licence, and your certification body is the one to confirm it.
How do we get onto a consultant's approved make list?
By being known before the tender is drafted. A consultant adds a make when there is a reference installation nearby to check. We line up those references and your test reports, then plan visits to the design firms in your target cities.
Should we sell through dealers or directly to projects?
Most manufacturers need both, with a clear rule on which projects go direct and which are routed through a dealer. We write that rule with you so dealers are not undercut on their own customers.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
