Electrical equipment manufacturers · Lead generation

The specification is the lead, and it lands months before the order.

Lead generation for an electrical equipment maker means knowing which projects have named your make, and separating a real project enquiry from a trader checking a rate. GullySales builds the specifier list, sorts the marketplace flood, and tracks every project from make list to purchase order.

A sorting hopper in a depot yard: a wide gold hopper on a steel frame, its throat splitting into three chutes that feed three floor bins, one heaped past its own spout, one half caught, one barely started

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For electrical equipment manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The make list is written before you hear of the job

By the time a contractor asks for a quotation, the brands were fixed months earlier in a consultant's tender document. That is the moment worth reaching.

  • An IndiaMART enquiry is a rate, not a requirement

Most want a per piece price. Ask for the project, the quantity and the delivery month before a salesman spends a day on it.

  • A specified project still has to be chased

Your name on the list counts for nothing if nobody rings the contractor in his buying month. He takes whichever dealer offers ninety days.

What we do

What we deliver for electrical equipment manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A specifier list for your target cities

MEP consultancies, architects, lighting designers and the electrical contractors they work with, recorded person by person rather than firm by firm.

Result: You reach the engineer who writes the list.

  2. A project tracker from make list to order

Every job where your brand is named or under consideration, with the consultant, the contractor, the expected buying month and the value.

Result: Sales rings the contractor while he is still buying.

  3. A sorting question set for incoming enquiries

Project name, quantity, rating wanted, delivery month and who specified it, asked before an enquiry reaches a salesman's diary.

Result: Project buyers get a visit and rate checks get a price.

  4. Sample and mock-up requests given a date

A record of every luminaire sample and site mock-up sent, with the designer, the project, and the day somebody has to ask what happened.

Result: A sample sent out comes back as an answer.

  5. A deviation watch on specified projects

A standing check with the consultant the moment a contractor asks to substitute, so the specification is defended before an approval is signed.

Result: A job won on paper is not lost at purchase.

  6. Enquiries reported by source and by type

Website, search, marketplace, dealer, consultant and exhibition, split between project and trade, read against the baseline from the audit.

Result: You can see which source produced orders.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for electrical equipment manufacturers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where your orders come from today: specifications, dealers, IndiaMART or tenders, and where specified projects are being lost to other brands.

  2. 2

    Fix the project follow-up

A tracker for every specified project and a rule for when sales calls the contractor, so a specification turns into a purchase order.

  3. 3

    Build the technical proof

Product pages with standards, test reports, drawings and photometric files, plus installed project stories a consultant can check.

  4. 4

Reach the specifiers and the trade

Consultant and architect outreach, dealer and electrician programmes, and search advertising for project buyers.

  5. 5

Keep the brand on the list

Regular contact with consultants who have specified you, after-sales support stories, and a check on every tender that drops your name.

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we find out which projects have specified us?
By asking the consultants you have met and writing the answer down against each job. Most manufacturers know only what a salesman remembers. A tracker naming the consultant, the contractor and the expected buying month turns that into a list you can work.
Should we pay for a tender tracking service?
It earns its keep when you sell to government and institutional buyers. Watch GeM, the state portals and the projects your consultants are drafting. Keep the document set current so nothing is rejected over a missing upload.
How do we get onto a consultant's approved make list?
By being known before the tender is drafted. A consultant adds a make when there is a reference installation nearby to check. We line up those references and your test reports, then plan visits to the design firms in your target cities.
Should we sell through dealers or directly to projects?
Most manufacturers need both, with a clear rule on which projects go direct and which are routed through a dealer. We write that rule with you so dealers are not undercut on their own customers.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
