Electrical equipment manufacturers · Email marketing

A consultant will open one email a quarter if it carries a test report.

Email for an electrical equipment maker keeps consultants, contractors and dealers in touch between visits, and carries the scheme, the new approval and the tender alert. GullySales writes to each list separately, keeps the technical mail technical, and reports which messages produced a project.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For electrical equipment manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Consultants do not read newsletters, they read approvals

A new type test, a fresh installation in their own city, or a revised specification clause. Anything else is deleted on the phone screen.

  • The dealer wants stock and the scheme, in that order

What is available, what this quarter pays him, and what has been dispatched against his orders. That mail gets opened the morning it lands.

  • A quotation that goes quiet needs writing, not ringing

Your salesman calls once and gives up. A short sequence asking the buying month and the consultant involved finds the jobs he forgot.

What we do

What we deliver for electrical equipment manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Separate lists for specifiers, contractors and dealers

Consultants and architects, electrical contractors, dealers and distributors, plant and facility heads, and tender buyers, each written to differently.

Result: Nobody receives a mail meant for somebody else.

  2. A quarterly technical note for design firms

A new type test, an installation in their city, a revised clause, with the files attached rather than promised on request.

Result: Your name arrives carrying something usable.

  3. A dealer mail carrying stock and the scheme

Current stock position, this quarter's scheme, dispatch status against open orders, and the counter material on its way to him.

Result: The dealer opens it before the salesman arrives.

  4. A follow-up sequence after every quotation

Timed messages asking the buying month, the consultant involved, and whether a competing make has been approved, sent while the job is live.

Result: Quotations stop going quiet unanswered.

  5. Tender and approval alerts to the right desk

GeM and state portal notices matched to your product lines, sent to whoever prepares the bid with the document checklist attached.

Result: No relevant tender closes unnoticed.

  6. Reporting on replies and projects, not opens

Which message produced a reply, a sample request or a new entry in the project tracker, set against the baseline taken at the audit.

Result: A mail nobody answers gets rewritten.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for electrical equipment manufacturers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where your orders come from today: specifications, dealers, IndiaMART or tenders, and where specified projects are being lost to other brands.

  2. 2

    Fix the project follow-up

A tracker for every specified project and a rule for when sales calls the contractor, so a specification turns into a purchase order.

  3. 3

    Build the technical proof

Product pages with standards, test reports, drawings and photometric files, plus installed project stories a consultant can check.

  4. 4

Reach the specifiers and the trade

Consultant and architect outreach, dealer and electrician programmes, and search advertising for project buyers.

  5. 5

Keep the brand on the list

Regular contact with consultants who have specified you, after-sales support stories, and a check on every tender that drops your name.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How often should we email consultants?
Once a quarter, unless there is a new approval or a project in their city. A design firm receives a great deal of manufacturer mail and deletes most of it. Earn the open with something they can put into a document.
Can we email people whose cards we collected at an exhibition?
Yes, about what they actually asked at the stall, with a clear way to stop receiving it. Sending the whole catalogue to everybody loses the list. A card from three years ago deserves a call rather than a campaign.
How do we get onto a consultant's approved make list?
By being known before the tender is drafted. A consultant adds a make when there is a reference installation nearby to check. We line up those references and your test reports, then plan visits to the design firms in your target cities.
Should we sell through dealers or directly to projects?
Most manufacturers need both, with a clear rule on which projects go direct and which are routed through a dealer. We write that rule with you so dealers are not undercut on their own customers.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
