Electrical equipment manufacturers · Social media

LinkedIn is for the consultant and WhatsApp is for the electrician.

Social media for an electrical equipment maker runs on two channels that never meet: LinkedIn, where consultants and plant heads sit, and WhatsApp, where dealers and electricians sit. GullySales runs both, posts from site rather than from the catalogue, and moves an enquiry to a call the same day.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For electrical equipment manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The electrician is on WhatsApp and nowhere else

Dealer groups carry scheme news, complaint photographs and rate talk all day. A message in his language reaches him where a post never will.

  • Consultants look you up the night before a meeting

A design engineer checks who is visiting tomorrow. A profile carrying installed projects has already done half the technical presentation.

  • Site photographs beat product photographs

A finished plant room, a lit facade, a panel under routine test. Those are the pictures a consultant drops into his own presentation.

What we do

What we deliver for electrical equipment manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A LinkedIn plan aimed at specifiers

Installed project posts, plain explanations of standards and testing, and connection requests from your area managers to the design firms in each city.

Result: Consultants know the company before the visit.

  2. Dealer and electrician groups run properly

Scheme announcements, new product notes and short installation clips in the market's language, with a rule on what gets answered and by whom.

Result: The counter hears from you between salesman visits.

  3. Site photography collected as a routine

A standing request to your service engineers and dealers for pictures at commissioning, with permission recorded and the project details noted.

Result: The page fills from work already done.

  4. Ready material for your area managers

Posts and captions your managers can publish under their own names, so the brand appears in the feeds that matter in each city.

Result: Twenty accounts do the work of one page.

  5. A rule on what may be said about a client's site

What can be named, what has to be described in general terms, and who signs it off, agreed with you before the first project post.

Result: A site photograph does not cost you a customer.

  6. Reporting on enquiries, not followers

Messages, profile visits and enquiries traced from each channel, measured from the baseline taken before work began.

Result: A channel producing nothing gets dropped.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for electrical equipment manufacturers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where your orders come from today: specifications, dealers, IndiaMART or tenders, and where specified projects are being lost to other brands.

  2. 2

    Fix the project follow-up

A tracker for every specified project and a rule for when sales calls the contractor, so a specification turns into a purchase order.

  3. 3

    Build the technical proof

Product pages with standards, test reports, drawings and photometric files, plus installed project stories a consultant can check.

  4. 4

Reach the specifiers and the trade

Consultant and architect outreach, dealer and electrician programmes, and search advertising for project buyers.

  5. 5

Keep the brand on the list

Regular contact with consultants who have specified you, after-sales support stories, and a check on every tender that drops your name.

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is Instagram worth it for a lighting manufacturer?
For architectural and decorative ranges, yes, because interior designers browse there. For switchgear and cables it does very little. That time goes further on LinkedIn and in the dealer groups.
Should our salesmen post from their own accounts?
Yes, and give them the material to post. A consultant is likelier to accept a connection from your area manager than to follow a company page. Agree what may be said about a client's site before anybody publishes it.
How do we get onto a consultant's approved make list?
By being known before the tender is drafted. A consultant adds a make when there is a reference installation nearby to check. We line up those references and your test reports, then plan visits to the design firms in your target cities.
Should we sell through dealers or directly to projects?
Most manufacturers need both, with a clear rule on which projects go direct and which are routed through a dealer. We write that rule with you so dealers are not undercut on their own customers.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
