Franchise systems · Content marketing

Answer the break-even question without making an earnings claim.

Content for a franchisor does two jobs. It moves a candidate through a decision that takes months, and it brings customers to units that are already trading. GullySales writes both, keeps every development piece inside what your disclosure document supports, and sends anything borderline to counsel first.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the free audit onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For franchise systems

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Candidates want the numbers you may not give

Investment range, working capital and time to break even are the questions. Answering them honestly inside the rules is the whole skill here.

  • The decision takes six to eighteen months

A candidate reads for a year before signing. The content has to still be useful in month nine, which a campaign burst never is.

  • Local content is the part nobody writes

Every system has a development brochure and almost none have a page explaining what a customer in one particular town actually gets.

What we do

What we deliver for franchise systems.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A candidate path built for a long decision

A sequence of pieces from first curiosity to discovery day, each answering the question a candidate has at that stage rather than repeating the pitch.

Result: Candidates stay in the process instead of going quiet.

  2. Investment and territory pages written to the disclosure document

Plain pages on what a unit costs to open, what territory protection means in your agreement and what the fees cover, traced to the document.

Result: Candidates stop calling to ask what you could have published.

  3. A day in the life, from existing owners

An honest account of what an owner does in a week, drawn from interviews with franchisees and cleared before publishing.

Result: The wrong candidates leave early and the right ones lean in.

  4. Local pages for each unit's own market

Writing about the neighbourhoods, the customers and the services that matter in a particular territory, rather than brand copy with a city dropped in.

Result: Units have content worth ranking.

  5. A counsel review step inside the publishing routine

A fixed point where anything touching performance, territory or fees goes to your franchise counsel before it can be published.

Result: Review happens before publication rather than after a complaint.

  6. Monthly reporting across both content sets

Visits, enquiries and progression to discovery day for development pieces, and local bookings for unit pages, against the audit baseline.

Result: You can see which writing is producing owners and customers.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these franchise systems.

  • Emerging franchisors under twenty-five units
  • Established systems adding units in new states
  • Food and beverage franchise systems
  • Home services and residential franchise brands
  • Health, fitness and wellness studio franchises
  • Childcare, tutoring and education franchises
  • Senior care and staffing franchise systems
  • Multi-unit and area developer models
  • Franchisors relying on a broker network for most deals

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for franchise systems

  1. 1

    Separate the two funnels

In the free audit we look at development and local marketing apart from each other, because they are usually reported as one number and hide each other's problems.

  2. 2

    Fix the candidate response

Agreed overlap hours, a first call while the candidate is still reading, qualification against your own criteria, and a record your development team can see.

  3. 3

    Set the local base

Every unit's listing, local page and review routine brought to one standard, so franchisees start from the same place rather than from whatever they set up themselves.

  4. 4

    Open new units properly

A pre-opening routine run for each new franchisee, so the ramp does not depend on how confident that particular owner is at marketing.

  5. 5

    Report to both audiences

Development numbers for the board and local numbers per unit for the franchisees, both against the baseline recorded before anything changed.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What can we say about how much a unit makes?
Only what your Item 19 contains, in the way it is stated there. Anything beyond it, in any medium, is treated as a financial performance representation. Your franchise counsel reviews every piece that touches the subject.
What content do candidates actually want?
The day-to-day. What an owner does in a week, what training covers, how territory works and what happens if it goes badly. Honest answers on those move more candidates than success stories.
Would your team be selling our franchises?
No. We take the first response, qualify the candidate against your criteria and book the conversation, and your development director or broker does the selling. Some states also register the people who sell franchise offerings, so where the line falls is decided by your franchise counsel and written into the scope.
Can you advertise what our franchisees earn?
Only what your Item 19 already says, and only in the form it says it. The FTC franchise rule and the registration states treat a figure in a social post the same as one in the disclosure document. We keep the copy to what the document supports and send anything borderline to your counsel first.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
