Franchise systems · Search engine optimisation

One set of pages sells units, the other set fills diaries.

Search for a franchisor runs on two separate bodies of pages. Candidates look up what your franchise costs and whether a territory is open, while customers search for the service in their own town. GullySales builds each set on its own terms and keeps the development pages inside what your disclosure document supports.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For franchise systems

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The cost page is the most-read page you will publish

A candidate types your brand name and the word cost before anything else. What that page may say is decided by your disclosure document and your franchise counsel.

  • A unit page is not the brand page with a town dropped in

Customers search the service and the neighbourhood. Two hundred pages built from one template with the city swapped is what Google calls scaled content.

  • Your own franchisees compete with you in the results

An owner who built a site of their own can outrank the corporate location page, splitting the searches and leaving customers unsure which is real.

What we do

What we deliver for franchise systems.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A development section written to the disclosure document

Pages on investment range, territory, training and support, with every figure traced to what your Item 19 states and reviewed by counsel before publishing.

Result: Candidates get straight answers and nothing goes live that counsel has not seen.

  2. A page per location, written for its neighbourhood

Each unit's page naming the areas it serves, the services those customers buy and the local detail nobody else would write.

Result: Each owner has a page that can rank in their own market.

  3. A rule for franchisee-owned websites

A written position on whether owners may run their own sites, and what happens to the pages and links if they already do.

Result: Units stop competing with the system in the same results.

  4. Technical work across a large site

Sitemaps, duplicate pages, redirects from closed units and the crawl problems that appear once a site passes a hundred location pages.

Result: The pages you publish actually get found.

  5. Search demand mapped per territory

What customers in each market search for and how much of it exists, so an owner in a thin market is not judged by a busy one's numbers.

Result: Expectations per unit are set on evidence.

  6. A monthly report split in two

Development visits and enquiries reported apart from local visits and bookings per unit, each against its own baseline from the audit.

Result: A strong development year cannot hide struggling units.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these franchise systems.

  • Emerging franchisors under twenty-five units
  • Established systems adding units in new states
  • Food and beverage franchise systems
  • Home services and residential franchise brands
  • Health, fitness and wellness studio franchises
  • Childcare, tutoring and education franchises
  • Senior care and staffing franchise systems
  • Multi-unit and area developer models
  • Franchisors relying on a broker network for most deals

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for franchise systems

  1. 1

    Separate the two funnels

In the free audit we look at development and local marketing apart from each other, because they are usually reported as one number and hide each other's problems.

  2. 2

    Fix the candidate response

Agreed overlap hours, a first call while the candidate is still reading, qualification against your own criteria, and a record your development team can see.

  3. 3

    Set the local base

Every unit's listing, local page and review routine brought to one standard, so franchisees start from the same place rather than from whatever they set up themselves.

  4. 4

    Open new units properly

A pre-opening routine run for each new franchisee, so the ramp does not depend on how confident that particular owner is at marketing.

  5. 5

    Report to both audiences

Development numbers for the board and local numbers per unit for the franchisees, both against the baseline recorded before anything changed.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we publish what a unit earns?
Only what your Item 19 states, in the form it states it. A figure on a web page is treated the same as one in the disclosure document. Your franchise counsel confirms what may appear before anything goes live.
Should franchisees run their own websites?
It is cleaner if they do not. One system with a page per unit ranks better and keeps the brand consistent. Where owners already have sites, the two need a written rule so they stop bidding against each other in the results.
Would your team be selling our franchises?
No. We take the first response, qualify the candidate against your criteria and book the conversation, and your development director or broker does the selling. Some states also register the people who sell franchise offerings, so where the line falls is decided by your franchise counsel and written into the scope.
Can you advertise what our franchisees earn?
Only what your Item 19 already says, and only in the form it says it. The FTC franchise rule and the registration states treat a figure in a social post the same as one in the disclosure document. We keep the copy to what the document supports and send anything borderline to your counsel first.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
