Franchise systems · Reputation management

Candidates read the complaint threads before they read a brochure.

Reputation for a franchisor has two faces. Candidates search for disputes, complaints and what owners say about the system, while customers read the reviews of the unit nearest them. GullySales monitors both, runs the review routine per location, and keeps the replies inside what your counsel allows.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For franchise systems

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Candidate research goes where your marketing cannot

Owner forums, discussion threads and public filings are read before the first call, and what is there decides whether the call happens.

  • One bad unit drags the whole brand down

Customers do not separate a location from the name above the door. A unit with a year of unanswered complaints affects searches across the system.

  • Validation calls are the reputation channel nobody manages

The owners your candidates ring are your most important reviewers, and most systems cannot say which ones are being called.

What we do

What we deliver for franchise systems.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Monitoring across candidate forums and review sites

Regular checks of the discussion boards, review platforms and complaint sites a candidate reaches within an hour of searching your name.

Result: You know what a candidate saw before he called.

  2. A review routine each unit can actually run

A short ask built into the point of service, with wording supplied and a weekly reminder, rather than a policy in the operations manual.

Result: Recent reviews keep arriving at every location.

  3. Reply standards written with your counsel

Approved responses for common complaints, and a settled position on whether head office may reply on a franchisee's behalf.

Result: Replies go out quickly without creating a new problem.

  4. A validation call record

Which owners candidates are being referred to, how often, and what happened to the deal afterwards.

Result: You can see which conversations are costing you signings.

  5. A watch on departing franchisee threads

Monitoring of posts and discussions started by former owners, with a prepared factual position agreed with counsel.

Result: A public dispute does not run unanswered for months.

  6. A monthly reputation report by location

New reviews, ratings, replies and outstanding items per unit, alongside candidate-facing mentions, against the audit baseline.

Result: The weakest location is visible before validation fails.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

  • Home services and residential franchise brands
  • Health, fitness and wellness studio franchises

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for franchise systems

  1. 1

    Separate the two funnels

In the free audit we look at development and local marketing apart from each other, because they are usually reported as one number and hide each other's problems.

  2. 2

    Fix the candidate response

Agreed overlap hours, a first call while the candidate is still reading, qualification against your own criteria, and a record your development team can see.

  3. 3

    Set the local base

Every unit's listing, local page and review routine brought to one standard, so franchisees start from the same place rather than from whatever they set up themselves.

  4. 4

    Open new units properly

A pre-opening routine run for each new franchisee, so the ramp does not depend on how confident that particular owner is at marketing.

  5. 5

    Report to both audiences

Development numbers for the board and local numbers per unit for the franchisees, both against the baseline recorded before anything changed.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we tell franchisees how to respond to reviews?
You can set the standard and supply the wording, and most agreements allow it. Whether head office may reply on their behalf is a question for your franchise counsel, because the account and the customer relationship sit with the owner.
What do we do about a former franchisee posting about the system?
Answer facts rather than feelings, and involve counsel early. A departure dispute in public is read by every future candidate, and an argument in the comments does more damage than the original post.
Would your team be selling our franchises?
No. We take the first response, qualify the candidate against your criteria and book the conversation, and your development director or broker does the selling. Some states also register the people who sell franchise offerings, so where the line falls is decided by your franchise counsel and written into the scope.
Can you advertise what our franchisees earn?
Only what your Item 19 already says, and only in the form it says it. The FTC franchise rule and the registration states treat a figure in a social post the same as one in the disclosure document. We keep the copy to what the document supports and send anything borderline to your counsel first.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
