Franchise systems · Digital marketing

The fund buys impressions and the franchisee sees nothing.

Digital marketing for a franchise system is two programmes funded differently and judged by different people: development spend that answers to the board, and fund spend that answers to franchisees. GullySales runs both, reports per unit against that unit's own baseline, and keeps the budgets from hiding each other.

A steam traction engine belted across a stackyard to a wooden threshing machine: the long flat belt taut between the flywheel and the drive pulley, the flywheel spinning, a straw elevator raking up off the far end, a full sack hanging on the sack spout, a corn stack half taken down behind and a water cart standing by

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For franchise systems

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Owners resent the fund because of how it is reported

A national impression count means nothing to somebody running one territory. The same money reported as enquiries in her own area changes the conversation.

  • Adoption is the constraint, not strategy

A campaign half the network runs is a campaign that half-works. What owners will actually do shapes the plan more than what is theoretically best.

  • Two funnels in one number hide each other

A strong year for development masks units that are struggling, right up until the validation calls start going badly.

What we do

What we deliver for franchise systems.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Development and fund budgets separated

Two plans, two sets of accounts and two reports, so money raised from franchisees is not funding candidate acquisition.

Result: Both sides of the business can be defended in a room.

  2. Per-unit reporting against a unit baseline

Enquiries, calls and bookings for each location measured against what that location produced before work began, not against the network average.

Result: Owners can see what the fund bought them.

  3. Campaigns prepared so an owner can run them

Dates, creative, offer and local variations built in advance, with instructions short enough to follow on a busy Tuesday.

Result: A campaign runs across the network on the same days.

  4. An adoption record by unit

Which owners ran each campaign, which did not and what results followed, tracked so support goes where it is needed.

Result: You can tell a weak campaign from a weak rollout.

  5. One plan covering the two audiences

A written split of channels and effort between candidates and customers, with the measure each part is judged on.

Result: Spending decisions stop being made in isolation.

  6. A report for the board and one for franchisees

The same monthly data presented twice, once as cost per signed unit and once as enquiries in a territory.

Result: Both audiences get numbers that mean something to them.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these franchise systems.

  • Emerging franchisors under twenty-five units
  • Established systems adding units in new states
  • Food and beverage franchise systems
  • Home services and residential franchise brands
  • Health, fitness and wellness studio franchises
  • Childcare, tutoring and education franchises
  • Senior care and staffing franchise systems
  • Multi-unit and area developer models
  • Franchisors relying on a broker network for most deals

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for franchise systems

  1. 1

    Separate the two funnels

In the free audit we look at development and local marketing apart from each other, because they are usually reported as one number and hide each other's problems.

  2. 2

    Fix the candidate response

Agreed overlap hours, a first call while the candidate is still reading, qualification against your own criteria, and a record your development team can see.

  3. 3

    Set the local base

Every unit's listing, local page and review routine brought to one standard, so franchisees start from the same place rather than from whatever they set up themselves.

  4. 4

    Open new units properly

A pre-opening routine run for each new franchisee, so the ramp does not depend on how confident that particular owner is at marketing.

  5. 5

    Report to both audiences

Development numbers for the board and local numbers per unit for the franchisees, both against the baseline recorded before anything changed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How do we get franchisees to use what the fund produces?
Make it ready to run and report it where they can see it. Owners adopt a campaign with dates, creative and a local version already prepared. They ignore a brand guideline and a shared folder.
Can you work alongside our existing agency?
Yes, and often that is the right split. Many systems keep a creative agency and need somebody running the per-unit work and the follow-up. The audit says which gaps are actually costing you units.
Would your team be selling our franchises?
No. We take the first response, qualify the candidate against your criteria and book the conversation, and your development director or broker does the selling. Some states also register the people who sell franchise offerings, so where the line falls is decided by your franchise counsel and written into the scope.
Can you advertise what our franchisees earn?
Only what your Item 19 already says, and only in the form it says it. The FTC franchise rule and the registration states treat a figure in a social post the same as one in the disclosure document. We keep the copy to what the document supports and send anything borderline to your counsel first.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
