Domestic tour operators · Content marketing

Answer the questions a family asks before it pays a deposit.

Content marketing for a tour operator means writing and filming the answers a traveller wants before booking: roads, weather, stays, who a trip suits. GullySales plans and writes the pieces so each one supports a trip you sell.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For domestic tour operators

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A family reads before it asks”

Before messaging any operator, the family organiser reads about road conditions, altitude, child-friendliness and whether the trip is too hurried. An operator who has already answered those questions in writing is trusted before the first message.

  • “Honest notes win over glossy copy”

A page that says Spiti in March may mean closed roads, and tells who should choose another month, reads as an operator who will tell the truth at the booking stage too. A sales page that claims every trip suits everyone reads as a brochure.

  • “One trip raises a dozen questions”

A single Ladakh circuit raises questions about acclimatisation, permits, vehicle choice, what to pack and how to pay. Each is a small piece of content, and each can be found by a search. Write them as separate answers that link to the trip page.

  • “Itinerary content goes out of date”

Hotels close, road works end, entry rules change. An old guide with wrong details causes a complaint on the trip. Date each piece, assign someone to review it, and correct it when your trip lead returns with new information.

What we do

What we deliver for domestic tour operators.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A question list for each trip

Collected from WhatsApp chats, calls and comments, so the content answers real questions.

Result: You hold a list of the questions guests actually ask.

  2. Trip guides written from your own departures

Road notes, stay notes and packing advice from your trip lead's experience.

Result: Guides carry details a copied brochure does not.

  3. A short video for each trip

The route, the vehicle, the stay and the trip lead speaking directly.

Result: A traveller can watch who will travel with them.

  4. A planning page for first-time travellers

How a booking works, what the price includes, how payment and refunds work.

Result: Fewer enquiries start with basic questions you have already answered.

  5. A review and update routine

A date to check each guide against the last departure.

Result: No guide describes a hotel or a road you no longer use.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How much content does an operator need?
Enough to answer the questions for the trips you sell, no more. Begin with the trips that need filling and add pieces as questions arrive.
Who should write the content?
The person who knows the road. We draft and shape from the trip lead's notes and your photographs, so the voice stays yours and the facts are correct.
Can we reuse content on social media and WhatsApp?
Yes. A guide can be cut into posts, a reel script and a WhatsApp reply. Keep one source on the website so changes are made in one place.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
