Domestic tour operators · Lead generation

Bring in enquiries from families who have dates, a headcount and a destination in mind.

Lead generation for a domestic tour operator means attracting people who are planning a specific trip, not everyone who liked a Kerala reel. GullySales works on the destination pages, the enquiry form and the sources that send you buyers with a real date.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For domestic tour operators

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A reel brings views, and the views are not enquiries”

A Spiti video can collect thousands of saves from people who will never book. The enquiry that matters comes from a traveller who has a month in mind and a group to take. Count that person, not the audience, and aim your effort at them.

  • “The first message decides whether the lead is real”

"Price for Manali" arrives with no dates, no headcount and no idea of a car or a seat. Treat it as an unfinished lead. A short reply that asks for the missing three details separates a planner from a window shopper.

  • “Group departures and private trips need different leads”

A seat on a fixed departure is sold to individuals and small friend groups who watch a date. A private itinerary is sold to one family organiser who compares replies. The same advert cannot find both, so each product needs its own source and page.

  • “Past travellers are the cheapest enquiry you will get”

A family that enjoyed Rajasthan already trusts your driver and your hotels. If nobody writes to them before the next season, a competitor will. Keep their names, the month of travel and the group size where you can find them.

What we do

What we deliver for domestic tour operators.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An enquiry form built for trip planning

Asks for dates, adults, children, and private car or group seat, and nothing else on the first screen.

Result: You see which enquiries arrive with usable details and which need a follow-up question.

  2. A page for each trip you run

Day plan, season, who it suits and your own photographs, written for people searching from their own city.

Result: Each trip has an address that a search or a reel can point to.

  3. Source tagging on every enquiry

Instagram, Google, referral, past traveller and partner are recorded when the enquiry is logged.

Result: You can read which source sent the bookings and not only the enquiries.

  4. A referral route from past travellers

A short note and a shareable trip link for guests who return from a trip happy.

Result: Past guests have something simple to forward to the family group.

  5. A seat-fill list for open departures

Everyone who asked about a date and did not book, held in one list with the departure they wanted.

Result: When seats remain, the people to message are already named.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we run paid adverts for our trips?
Paid adverts suit a departure with seats to fill and a page to land on. Without the page and a reply routine, the money buys clicks that nobody answers. Fix the reply first, then spend on one departure and read the result.
Which source brings the best leads for a tour operator?
It differs by operator, which is why each enquiry is tagged at entry. Referrals and past travellers are sources an operator already holds and overlooks, so start by counting those before buying anything new.
How many enquiries should a trip need before we run it?
That is a business decision based on your hotel and vehicle costs, so set a cut-off per departure with your accountant. We help you see how many enquiries and bookings each departure has at any point.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
