Eco resorts · Digital marketing

Put search, social, listings and your own list to work for one clear booking route.

Digital marketing for an eco resort is the combination of search, listings, social media, advertising and messages that brings a nature traveller to the property and to the booking. GullySales decides which of these fits your size and season, and joins them to a path that ends in an enquiry.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For eco resorts

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Everything is tried and nothing is joined”

A resort that has a page, an Instagram account, a listing and an occasional ad, each run by a different person, has four small efforts. None points to the same booking route, so none can be measured or compared with the others.

  • “Portals take a cut and own the guest”

Travel portals bring bookings, along with commission and a guest who belongs to the portal, not to the lodge. They are useful for reach, but a lodge that depends only on them has no list to invite back.

  • “Paid ads suit the right moment”

Advertising works when the page can answer a careful guest and the dates are open. Spending before the park season on guests who ask about closed months wastes money. The campaign should follow the calendar of the property.

  • “Measurement gets skipped”

Without a note of where each enquiry came from, such as search, a post or an agent, a manager cannot say which effort worked. A simple source field at the first reply gives the answer by the end of one season.

What we do

What we deliver for eco resorts.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan sized to the lodge

Which of search, social, listings, ads and messages to use, and which to leave out, with reasons.

Result: Effort goes where guests actually look.

  2. One booking route behind every channel

A WhatsApp number or enquiry page that every post, listing and advert points to.

Result: Every channel leads to the same place.

  3. Campaigns built around the open dates

Advert and post timing matched to the months you have rooms and the season guests plan.

Result: Spend follows the dates you can fill.

  4. A source field on every enquiry

Where each enquiry came from, recorded when the manager replies.

Result: You can compare channels with your own figures.

  5. A season-end review

A plain account of what worked, what did not and what to change before the next season.

Result: The next season starts with a decision.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

What budget should an eco resort start with?
That depends on room count, price and season. We start with the free and low-cost basics, fix the page and the reply, and set a paid budget once the route works.
Do we need all the channels?
No. A small lodge does better with two or three channels done properly than six done thinly. We name the ones to drop, so the team's time goes into the work that reaches your guests.
Can you run it from a distance?
The work is pages, listings, posts and replies, which can be done remotely with calls and shared files. We agree in the scope if a visit would help.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
