Eco resorts · WhatsApp marketing

Turn the number guests already message into a proper booking desk.

WhatsApp marketing for an eco resort is the use of a business number to answer enquiries, send details and keep past guests informed, with their consent. GullySales sets up the account, the replies and the lists so a remote property can serve guests from a phone.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For eco resorts

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Indian guests prefer a message to an email”

A traveller asks the question on WhatsApp, expects a photo of the room in reply and forwards the chat to family for an opinion. A property with only an email form loses the guest to the lodge that answers in the same app.

  • “A personal number is a weak front desk”

Enquiries pile up on the manager's own phone, mixed with family messages and lost when the phone changes. A business account with a catalogue, quick replies and labels keeps the guest history separate and lets a second person pick up the chat.

  • “Broadcasts to the wrong people get blocked”

Sending offers to everyone in the contact book annoys guests and risks the number. Messages should go only to people who asked to hear from the lodge, in groups that match their interests. A short, wanted message each season does more than a frequent blast.

  • “Photographs and voice notes sell the stay”

A short video of the room, the trail and the kitchen answers more than a paragraph. A voice note from the naturalist about the week's sightings makes the lodge feel present, even to someone far away.

What we do

What we deliver for eco resorts.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business account set up properly

Profile, catalogue of stays, greeting, away message and quick replies entered on the lodge's number.

Result: A guest sees a lodge, not a private phone.

  2. A set of saved replies with media

Answers on rooms, food, activities, getting there and payment, each with a photograph or clip.

Result: Common questions are answered in a moment.

  3. Labels for the enquiry stages

New, quoted, deposit paid and stayed, applied to each chat.

Result: The manager sees where every chat stands.

  4. An opt-in list of past guests

A consented list grouped by interest and season.

Result: Invitations reach people who agreed to receive them.

  5. A note on the platform's current rules

What may be sent, to whom and in what form, checked against the platform's current rules.

Result: The number is used in line with the rules.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we use the free app or the business API?
The free business app suits a small lodge. The API suits higher volume and shared teams. Start with the app and move when the number of chats makes it hard to manage.
Can we message past guests about the new season?
Only if they agreed to hear from you. Ask at check-in, record the consent and give a simple way to stop. Check the platform's current rules.
Who answers when the manager is on a trail?
Name a second person with access and give them the saved replies. If nobody can answer, set an away message that says when a reply will come, and keep to it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
