Industrial suppliers and distributors · Branding

Your line card is the brand, and most of them are unreadable.

Branding for a distributor is the line card, the quotation, the counter and the truck, because a buyer judges you on evidence of what you hold and how you answer. GullySales puts that set in order, so a plant engineer can tell in a minute what you carry and what your shop can make.

A sign-painter's bench: a shop sign on a low easel lettered as far as its last character, which is still only pencilled in, a mahl stick laid across the work, open tins of paint on the floor and a finished sign hanging from its iron bracket above

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For industrial suppliers and distributors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • A line card that is a wall of logos tells a buyer nothing

He wants the lines you are authorised for, the sizes you stock and what the shop can fabricate, on one page that opens on a phone.

  • The quotation is the most-read document you publish

It goes to a buyer, a controller and often a plant manager, and a quote with no lead time or interchange note reads like a guess.

  • Buying group branding is not your branding

A member mark says nothing about whether your branch has the part, and independents hide behind it instead of saying what they do.

What we do

What we deliver for industrial suppliers and distributors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A line card that reads on a phone

Authorised lines grouped by what they are used for, with stocked sizes and the fabrication you do, in one file a rep can send from a plant car park.

Result: A buyer sees your range in a minute.

  2. A quotation format carrying lead time and interchange

One layout for every quote, naming the item, the interchange if it replaces something, availability, the lead time and the terms.

Result: Your quotation stops looking like an email.

  3. A capability sheet for the shop

Hose crimping, belt fabrication, gearbox and motor repair set out with the sizes, pressures and turnaround you handle, photographed at your own bench.

Result: Work that leaves the county starts coming to you.

  4. Counter, yard and truck signage in one look

Branch signage, the will-call window, truck lettering and the board on the yard, carrying the same name, number and lines.

Result: Your branch stops looking like three companies.

  5. Photography of the racking, bench and installed work

A proper set from each branch and the fabrication shop, organised by category, used across the site, the listings and the line card.

Result: Proof exists when a buyer asks what you can do.

  6. One company name everywhere a buyer checks

The same legal name, branch addresses and phone numbers across the site, the manufacturer locators, the group directory and vendor portals.

Result: A purchasing team verifying you finds one company.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

This is written for these industrial suppliers and distributors.

  • MRO and general industrial supply houses
  • Bearing, power transmission and motion distributors
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic distributors with a fabrication shop
  • Electrical and automation distributors
  • Fastener, abrasive and cutting tool suppliers

  • Single-branch independents inside a buying group

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for industrial suppliers and distributors

  1. 1

    Read the sales history

In the free audit we look at where enquiries come from and what your ERP already shows: which accounts slowed, which lines went quiet, which quotes never closed.

  2. 2

    Fix the enquiry path

Counter, web and email enquiries logged in one place, a follow-up date on every quote, and agreed overlap hours so nothing waits until the next morning.

  3. 3

    Make the catalogue findable

Real data on the lines that matter, brand and application pages, and branch pages built for a search made in a hurry.

  4. 4

    Work the accounts nobody calls

The lost-line report and the neglected tail of the territory handled as inside sales, with a written record of every conversation.

  5. 5

Report by line, not by lump

A monthly report showing enquiries, quotes, orders and recovered categories against the baseline recorded before anything changed.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

All case studies
  • SB Engineering

    Situation
Buyers searching for laser cutting and sheet metal work in Bengaluru were finding other suppliers first, because the company did not rank for the terms its own customers type.
    What we did
    • The site redesigned for mobile
    • Search work on the buyer's terms
    • Content that shows the work
    • Social channels managed
    Result
    • Website traffic rose 60% within six months, against a target of 50%.
    • High-quality leads rose 45%, with a rise in conversion rates alongside them.
    • Fifteen target keywords moved up the rankings, five of them into the top three positions.

  • HOPO Hardware

    Situation
There was no website or online platform of any kind, so nothing showed the products, their features or their technical specifications. A dealer who wanted a specification had to ask for it every time.
    What we did
    • Website and product catalogue
    • Logo and colour palette
    • Printed stationery
    • Social accounts opened
    Result
No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a new logo?
Less than you need a line card and a quotation format. Nobody picks a distributor on a logo. Spend the money photographing the hose shop and the racking, because that is the evidence a buyer wants.
We belong to a buying group. Should we use their name?
Use it where it earns you a programme price or a national account, and lead with your own name everywhere else. A plant wants to know what your branch holds, which the group mark does not say.
What hours would you cover for our branch?
The hours that overlap your working day, agreed and written down before any work starts. We settle that on the first call rather than the third, because a counter runs to its own clock and a quote chased at the wrong hour is wasted. Nights, weekends and the will-call desk stay with your own people.
Can anyone actually compete with Amazon Business?
Not on a box of gloves, and pretending otherwise wastes your money. You compete on the part that is not stocked anywhere near the plant, on the assembly made while the truck waits, and on knowing what fits. The work here is making those three things findable and answerable, then defending the lines you still hold.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
