Industrial suppliers and distributors · Lead generation

The photograph of a burnt motor nameplate is the enquiry.

Lead generation for a distributor is the RFQ arriving and being sorted: a stocked part, a fabricated assembly, or a third quote to check a price already in hand. GullySales puts counter, email and web enquiries in one log, sets the qualifying questions, and chases every quote that went quiet.

A sorting hopper in a depot yard: a wide gold hopper on a steel frame, its throat splitting into three chutes that feed three floor bins, one heaped past its own spout, one half caught, one barely started

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For industrial suppliers and distributors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Some RFQs exist to validate a number somebody already has

A buyer told to collect three quotes will carry yours back to the incumbent, and the tell is that nothing about the request is urgent.

  • A nameplate photo carries half of what you need

Ask for the frame size, the shaft and the mounting in the first reply, or the quote goes out wrong and comes back a week later.

  • A fabricated assembly has to be chased, a stocked part does not

A hose run or a gearbox rebuild sits on somebody's desk for a fortnight, and nobody at your branch owns the follow-up date.

What we do

What we deliver for industrial suppliers and distributors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One log for counter, phone, email and web RFQs

Every request in a single list with an owner, what was quoted and when, including the ones arriving as a photograph on a rep's phone.

Result: An enquiry stops depending on who happened to answer.

  2. Qualifying questions written for each kind of request

Nameplate data for a rebuild, need-by date and quantity for a stocked item, drawing and pressure rating for an assembly, asked on the first reply.

Result: Quotes go out right the first time.

  3. Same-day acknowledgement carrying a lead time

A short reply inside working hours giving availability or an honest date, sent before the full quotation has been priced.

Result: The buyer stops ringing the next distributor.

  4. Follow-up dates on everything fabricated or engineered

A date in the calendar for every assembly, repair and engineered quote, with a call rather than an email and a note of what was said.

Result: Quotes stop dying three days after they are sent.

  5. Win and loss reasons recorded by category

A one-line reason on every closed quotation, price, lead time, brand or no reply, collected by product line.

Result: You learn which lines you lose on price and which on stock.

  6. New account enquiries routed to the right desk

A rule for which enquiries go to outside sales, which stay inside, and what happens when both are on the road.

Result: A new plant does not wait two days for a call back.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for industrial suppliers and distributors

  1. 1

    Read the sales history

In the free audit we look at where enquiries come from and what your ERP already shows: which accounts slowed, which lines went quiet, which quotes never closed.

  2. 2

    Fix the enquiry path

Counter, web and email enquiries logged in one place, a follow-up date on every quote, and agreed overlap hours so nothing waits until the next morning.

  3. 3

    Make the catalogue findable

Real data on the lines that matter, brand and application pages, and branch pages built for a search made in a hurry.

  4. 4

    Work the accounts nobody calls

The lost-line report and the neglected tail of the territory handled as inside sales, with a written record of every conversation.

  5. 5

Report by line, not by lump

A monthly report showing enquiries, quotes, orders and recovered categories against the baseline recorded before anything changed.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

    Situation
The website was dated. Menus were hard to follow, pages were slow, and it did not work properly on a phone, which is where a buyer looks first.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we tell which RFQs are worth quoting?
Ask what the need-by date is and who else is quoting. A buyer with a date and a drawing is buying. A request with no date, no quantity and no name attached is usually collecting a third number for a file.
Our counter takes enquiries by phone. Does logging them add work?
A line each, written while the caller is still talking. The counter already puts the part number on a pad. The change is that the pad becomes a list somebody reads before closing.
What hours would you cover for our branch?
The hours that overlap your working day, agreed and written down before any work starts. We settle that on the first call rather than the third, because a counter runs to its own clock and a quote chased at the wrong hour is wasted. Nights, weekends and the will-call desk stay with your own people.
Can anyone actually compete with Amazon Business?
Not on a box of gloves, and pretending otherwise wastes your money. You compete on the part that is not stocked anywhere near the plant, on the assembly made while the truck waits, and on knowing what fits. The work here is making those three things findable and answerable, then defending the lines you still hold.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
