Industrial suppliers and distributors · Local SEO

Counter hours and a gate number decide the same-day order.

Local search for a distributor is the map result a technician opens when a line is down and he needs the part today. GullySales sets up a listing for each branch carrying counter hours, the brands held and the delivery radius, and moves the pin to the gate rather than the highway.

A market cross in a small town square: a stepped stone cross of four worn tiers standing in a ring of cobbles, a coil of stall rope left on the bottom step, a chalk pitch marked out on the stones and a chalk arrow pointing in from the nearest lane

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For industrial suppliers and distributors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • A branch in an industrial park is hard to find on purpose

The pin drops on the road, the gate is round the back, and a driver with a hot part loses fifteen minutes he did not have.

  • Will-call hours are the first thing a technician checks

He is deciding whether to drive over now, and a listing saying five when the counter shuts at four thirty earns a bad review.

  • Your delivery radius is a local search question

A plant forty miles out wants to know whether a truck runs that way, and no page on your site answers it.

What we do

What we deliver for industrial suppliers and distributors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A listing for every branch, counter hours included

Each location claimed and completed with will-call hours, the after-hours number if you run one, and the day a truck goes to each area.

Result: A technician knows whether it is worth driving over.

  2. The pin moved to the gate and the dock

Map position corrected to the entrance a delivery vehicle actually uses, with directions naming the park, the gate and the building.

Result: Drivers stop ringing for directions.

  3. Brands and categories loaded as products

The authorised lines and the categories you stock added as products on each listing, instead of a description reading industrial supplies.

Result: A brand search near your branch finds the right location.

  4. Photographs of the window, racking and yard

Pictures of the will-call counter, the shelves, the hose shop and the delivery trucks, replacing the logo most distributor listings still carry.

Result: A first-time buyer can see you hold stock.

  5. Branch pages naming the parks and plants served

A page per location describing the industrial areas it covers, what it stocks for them and how quickly a truck reaches each.

Result: The search for a supplier in that area has something to find.

  6. Calls, direction requests and counter traffic reported

Monthly figures for calls, direction requests and website taps by branch, read against what each listing produced before it was touched.

Result: You can tell which branch the listing is working for.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for industrial suppliers and distributors

  1. 1

    Read the sales history

In the free audit we look at where enquiries come from and what your ERP already shows: which accounts slowed, which lines went quiet, which quotes never closed.

  2. 2

    Fix the enquiry path

Counter, web and email enquiries logged in one place, a follow-up date on every quote, and agreed overlap hours so nothing waits until the next morning.

  3. 3

    Make the catalogue findable

Real data on the lines that matter, brand and application pages, and branch pages built for a search made in a hurry.

  4. 4

    Work the accounts nobody calls

The lost-line report and the neglected tail of the territory handled as inside sales, with a written record of every conversation.

  5. 5

Report by line, not by lump

A monthly report showing enquiries, quotes, orders and recovered categories against the baseline recorded before anything changed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We run three branches. One listing or three?
One for each, at the address you actually occupy, with its own counter hours and phone number. A listing at an address you do not hold gets suspended, and the reviews disappear with it.
Nobody walks into a distributor any more. Why bother with this?
They do when a line is down. Will-call is the one thing a marketplace cannot do. The technician deciding whether to drive over is looking at your listing, not at your website.
What hours would you cover for our branch?
The hours that overlap your working day, agreed and written down before any work starts. We settle that on the first call rather than the third, because a counter runs to its own clock and a quote chased at the wrong hour is wasted. Nights, weekends and the will-call desk stay with your own people.
Can anyone actually compete with Amazon Business?
Not on a box of gloves, and pretending otherwise wastes your money. You compete on the part that is not stocked anywhere near the plant, on the assembly made while the truck waits, and on knowing what fits. The work here is making those three things findable and answerable, then defending the lines you still hold.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
