GullySales

Industrial suppliers and distributors · Social media

Your audience is forty maintenance managers inside a fifty mile drive.

Social media for a distributor is a small, named audience: the maintenance and reliability people at plants your trucks already reach. GullySales builds the posting around work from your own shop floor, sets your outside reps up properly, and counts the enquiries it produced rather than the followers.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For industrial suppliers and distributors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Reach is the wrong measure when the market is fifty plants

Ten of the right people seeing a hose crimp is a better month than four thousand views from three states away.

  • A rep's own profile outperforms the company page

Plant people connect with the person who visits them, while the company account posts to an audience of manufacturers' reps.

  • The only content that travels here is the bench

A gearbox stripped down, a belt drive corrected, a sixty-foot hose made up while a truck waited. Nobody scrolls past that.

What we do

What we deliver for industrial suppliers and distributors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Footage captured off the fabrication bench and the yard

A routine for filming the hose, belt and repair work already happening, with a note of what failed and what went back on.

Result: Posting stops waiting for somebody to have an idea.

  2. Outside reps set up on LinkedIn properly

Profiles, a connection routine and a weekly post each rep can send in two minutes from a plant car park, with what not to post written down.

Result: Your reps reach people the company page never will.

  3. A named list of local plants and their maintenance leads

The plants inside your delivery radius, the maintenance and reliability contacts at each, and an approach that does not read as a pitch.

Result: You are a known name before the first call.

  4. Manufacturer material reworked for your territory

Brand campaign assets from the lines you carry rewritten around plants near you, using the co-operative funds most branches leave unclaimed.

Result: Supplier money pays for content about your branch.

  5. A short answer series taken from the counter

The questions your will-call desk fields all week, answered in a minute each, posted where local maintenance people already sit.

Result: Your branch becomes the one people ask.

  6. Enquiries traced back rather than followers counted

A monthly note of which enquiries, quotes and orders came through a profile or a post, compared with the position before any of it started.

Result: You can stop if it is not earning.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these industrial suppliers and distributors.

  • MRO and general industrial supply houses
  • Bearing, power transmission and motion distributors
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic distributors with a fabrication shop
  • Electrical and automation distributors
  • Fastener, abrasive and cutting tool suppliers
  • Safety and PPE distributors
  • Pipe, valve and fitting suppliers
  • Process equipment and pump distributors with service work
  • Single-branch independents inside a buying group

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for industrial suppliers and distributors

  1. 1

    Read the sales history

In the free audit we look at where enquiries come from and what your ERP already shows: which accounts slowed, which lines went quiet, which quotes never closed.

  2. 2

    Fix the enquiry path

Counter, web and email enquiries logged in one place, a follow-up date on every quote, and agreed overlap hours so nothing waits until the next morning.

  3. 3

    Make the catalogue findable

Real data on the lines that matter, brand and application pages, and branch pages built for a search made in a hurry.

  4. 4

    Work the accounts nobody calls

The lost-line report and the neglected tail of the territory handled as inside sales, with a written record of every conversation.

  5. 5

Report by line, not by lump

A monthly report showing enquiries, quotes, orders and recovered categories against the baseline recorded before anything changed.

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

All case studies

  • HOPO Hardware

    Situation
There was no website or online platform of any kind, so nothing showed the products, their features or their technical specifications. A dealer who wanted a specification had to ask for it every time.

    • Logo and colour palette
    • Printed stationery
    • Social accounts opened

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Does anyone in industry actually use LinkedIn?
Maintenance managers and reliability engineers do, mostly to see what other plants are doing. They are not there to buy. The value is being a known name before your rep calls, which shortens the first meeting.
Should we be posting on Instagram?
Only if the shop work photographs well and somebody enjoys doing it, because the buying audience is not there. It does help with hiring counter and warehouse staff, which is a real problem in this trade.
What hours would you cover for our branch?
The hours that overlap your working day, agreed and written down before any work starts. We settle that on the first call rather than the third, because a counter runs to its own clock and a quote chased at the wrong hour is wasted. Nights, weekends and the will-call desk stay with your own people.
Can anyone actually compete with Amazon Business?
Not on a box of gloves, and pretending otherwise wastes your money. You compete on the part that is not stocked anywhere near the plant, on the assembly made while the truck waits, and on knowing what fits. The work here is making those three things findable and answerable, then defending the lines you still hold.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
