The engineer searched for a range and an output, and your page only said 'precision sensing'.

A sensor is selected from a data table. The buyer wants a range, an accuracy, an output type, a thread or mounting and an ingress rating. If any of these is missing from the page, they move to the next supplier.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

An electronics engineer inspects circuit boards at an assembly bench

In one paragraph

Sensors are devices that measure a physical quantity, such as temperature, pressure, level, proximity or flow, and give an electrical signal. GullySales organises your range by what is measured, the range and the output, so engineers and buyers find the right sensor and the quotation reaches a person.

Sensor makers sell through three routes: directly to OEMs, through distributors, and as custom or replacement parts to plants. Each route has a different buyer, and a single catalogue page does not serve all three.

Who it is for

This is written for you if sensors is what you make or sell.

  • Makers of temperature, pressure and level sensors
  • Proximity, flow and load-cell makers
  • Firms that make custom sensors to a customer's drawing
  • Makers who sell through distributors and instrument dealers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A trader reselling imported sensors with no application support
  • A maker who cannot give a datasheet for each product

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of sensors.

  1. The datasheet comparison

Range, accuracy, output signal, supply voltage, housing and ingress protection are put side by side.

  2. Calibration and test certificates

Buyers in process industries ask whether a calibration certificate is supplied and what it traces to. State what you actually provide.

  3. A sample for the OEM's prototype

An OEM design engineer tests a few samples on the bench before specifying the part.

  4. Distributor stock and lead time

Plants and panel builders buy the sensor that is on a shelf nearby.

Where orders are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell sensors.

In the words owners use on the first call.

  • “Engineers can't find the exact variant”

Dozens of ranges and outputs sit in a PDF catalogue that search does not read.

  • “Our samples go out and are forgotten”

A design engineer who tested your part is never called to ask whether it went into the design.

  • “Distributors push the imported brand”

They keep what sells easily and have no sheet to explain how your part compares.

  • “Custom requests take too long to quote”

The first message is a drawing, and the reply needs several questions that are never asked up front.

What we do

What you get for sensors.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A sensor selection table per family

Lets an engineer narrow the list by range and output in a minute.

  2. Searchable datasheets

Move specifications out of a PDF into pages that can be found.

  3. A sample follow-up routine

Turns bench tests into design wins.

  4. A distributor comparison sheet

Shows how your part sits against the imported one.

  5. A custom-sensor request form

Cuts the first round of questions.

How the result is measured

  • Qualified sensor enquiries
  • Samples sent
  • Follow-up after each sample
  • Design wins at OEMs
  • Distributor accounts opened
  • Repeat orders

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before we talk.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Datasheets for every model
  • Calibration and test certificates you issue
  • A list of OEMs and distributors you supply
  • A record of the samples sent in the past year
  • Examples of custom sensors made for customers

Export and new regions

Selling sensors beyond your home market.

Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.

  1. OEMs and instrument distributors

Overseas sensor sales go through distributors with local stock or to OEMs with a design cycle. Your present export buyers show where to concentrate.

  2. Certificates and traceability

Overseas buyers may ask for calibration traceability and material declarations. Confirm what you can provide before you say so.

  3. Sample shipping

Small samples travel by courier. State who pays the freight and the duty.

FAQ

Questions about selling sensors.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do engineers choose a sensor supplier?
They compare datasheets, request a sample and test it. A page with a clear selection table and a quick reply to a sample request wins attention.
Should datasheets be public?
Yes, in most cases. Engineers search for them, and hidden datasheets send them elsewhere.
How do we sell custom sensors?
Ask for the application details on the first form. A buyer who answers has already thought about the need.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on what is being changed and how many of the people who matter see it. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
