Manufacturing · Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

We press tablets all day, yet marketing companies pick the unit whose reply came first.

A tablet unit sells capacity: batch sizes, lines, coating and blister or strip packing. The buyer is a marketing company, a franchise brand or an institution that needs the product made and delivered.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph

Tablet manufacturing is the compression, coating and packing of solid oral dosage forms for brands, distributors and institutions. GullySales builds the capability pages, the enquiry qualification and the sample and quotation follow-up that suit a unit selling batch capacity to marketing companies.

Tablets are the most common dosage form, so a buyer has many units to choose from. The difference is how clearly a unit says what it can do and how quickly it replies.

Last updated 16 Oct 2026. Licence, certification, labelling and advertising rules for pharmaceutical manufacturing differ by product and change. We describe them in general terms, so check the current position with your own adviser or the regulator before you publish a claim.

Who it is for

This is written for you if tablet manufacturing is what you make or sell.

  • Tablet units doing third-party and loan-licence work
  • Units with coating, blistering and strip-packing lines
  • Plants with their own brands who also take contract orders
  • Smaller units that want direct brand-partner enquiries and not only distributor work

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A unit with spare capacity but no plant it is ready to show a visiting buyer
  • A business that wants public consumer advertising of its tablets

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of tablet manufacturing.

  1. Capacity and minimum batch

The brand owner asks about batch size, minimum order and the lines available. A clear answer is the first filter.

  2. Product range and pack types

Buyers look for the strengths and pack styles you already make, such as strip or blister, so they can add to an existing range.

  3. Samples and a plant visit

A sample is examined and a visit is arranged. The condition of the shop floor and the person who guides the tour matter.

  4. Price per strip and payment terms

Rate comparison across units, with credit period and minimum order shaping the choice.

Where orders are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell tablet manufacturing.

In the words owners use on the first call.

  • “Marketing companies call ten units and we are the ninth”

A buyer who rings ten units forgets most of them. A quick, specific reply and a follow-up call are what they remember.

  • “Every enquiry asks the rate and nothing else”

A rate without a formulation, a pack and a quantity is a guess. The form should ask for the product details first.

  • “Sample went out, no one chased”

The sample sits on a desk and the buyer moves to another unit while you wait.

The scope

The work we would propose for tablet manufacturing.

Measured on qualified enquiries, quotation requests, follow-up on each quotation, trial orders won and repeat orders. Anything here that needs a platform, directory or tool we have not used with you is confirmed with you before it goes in the scope.

What we do

What you get for tablet manufacturing.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A capability sheet

One page of lines, batch sizes and pack styles, sent with every reply.

  2. A product enquiry form

Sorts a brand owner with a formulation from a rate collector.

  3. A sample tracker

Shows which samples are out and who owes a call.

  4. A plant visit guide

Makes a visit organised, so the buyer comes away with the right impression and the right papers.

How the result is measured

  • Qualified enquiries from marketing companies
  • Quotation requests received
  • Samples sent and followed up
  • Plant visits arranged
  • Trial batches won
  • Repeat orders

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before we talk.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Capacity, lines and pack styles
  • Your minimum order and batch sizes
  • Plant photographs you are comfortable sharing
  • Existing brand partners and distributors
  • Past quotations and samples sent

Export and new regions

Selling tablet manufacturing beyond your home market.

Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.

  1. Export buyers and tender suppliers

Overseas tablet buyers include importers and distributors, and some buy through tenders. We start with your own export enquiries.

  2. Registration before sale

Most countries need a product registered by a local party first. Your adviser confirms what each market needs.

FAQ

Questions about selling tablet manufacturing.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What should a tablet unit show on its website?
Lines, batch sizes, pack styles, the dosage forms made and a way to request a quotation. Buyers also want to see the plant, so use real photographs.
Can I list the products I have made for others?
Only with the brand owner's permission, and many will not give it. List the types of product instead.
Do I need to be on IndiaMART?
It brings enquiries, but many are rate checks. A listing plus a proper reply routine is worth it, a listing alone is not.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on what is being changed and how many of the people who matter see it. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
