Manufacturing · Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Our herbs are genuine, but the buyer has no way to check.

The herbal buyer asks two things: is it genuine, and will every batch be the same? Plant material varies by season and source, and buyers know it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph

Herbal product manufacturing covers extracts, powders, tablets, oils and formulations made from plant material, sold to brands, practitioners and distributors. GullySales builds the sourcing and process pages, the buyer enquiry route and the follow-up that suit a unit whose buyers worry first about authenticity and consistency.

So the page that sells has to explain where the material comes from and how it is checked. It cannot say what the product heals, which is for the regulator and your adviser, and not for the website.

Last updated 16 Oct 2026. Licence, certification, labelling and advertising rules for pharmaceutical manufacturing differ by product and change. We describe them in general terms, so check the current position with your own adviser or the regulator before you publish a claim.

Who it is for

This is written for you if herbal products is what you make or sell.

  • Makers of herbal extracts, powders and standardised ingredients
  • Units making herbal tablets, capsules, oils and syrups for brands
  • Manufacturers supplying practitioners, pharmacies and distributors
  • Producers with farm or cooperative sourcing they can describe

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A business wanting disease or cure claims on its pages
  • A unit that cannot say where its raw material comes from

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of herbal products.

  1. Source and authenticity

The buyer asks where the plant material is grown or collected and how it is identified. A clear account of sourcing is the first filter.

  2. Batch consistency and testing

Brands ask how batches are tested and what reports exist. What you can show is cleared with your adviser.

  3. Form and standardisation

Powder, extract or finished product, and whether the active marker is standardised. Different buyers want different forms.

  4. Distributor and practitioner trust

Distributors and practitioners often buy on familiarity. A visit or a trusted referral weighs heavily.

Where orders are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell herbal products.

In the words owners use on the first call.

  • “Buyers doubt every herbal supplier”

The trade has had its share of adulteration. A website with no source information makes the doubt worse.

  • “We cannot write what the product is good for”

Claims are tightly controlled. Many units either ignore the rule or have nothing to say, and both put buyers off.

  • “Good local sales, no reach beyond”

A unit known in its home district has no way to reach brands in other states.

What we do

What you get for herbal products.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. Sourcing story pages

Answer the authenticity question before it is asked.

  2. A buyer documents page

Lets a brand see what testing exists without a phone call.

  3. Farm and plant videos

Give a distant buyer something to check.

  4. An outreach pack for brands and distributors

Product list, sourcing note and sample offer in one message.

How the result is measured

  • Qualified enquiries by product form
  • Sample requests and follow-up
  • Document pack requests
  • Distributors and brands approached
  • Trial orders won
  • Repeat orders

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before we talk.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Plant materials and forms you supply
  • Where and how each is sourced
  • Test reports and certificates you may show
  • Photographs and video from farms and the plant
  • Your adviser's guidance on permitted wording

Export and new regions

Selling herbal products beyond your home market.

Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.

  1. Importers of herbal ingredients

Overseas buyers include extract importers and wellness brands. We start with your own export enquiries and existing buyers.

  2. Plant-material rules

Many countries restrict some plant materials and require testing. Your adviser confirms what applies before an export quote.

FAQ

Questions about selling herbal products.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can I say my herbal product treats a condition?
No, not on our pages. Claims need your adviser's clearance, and we leave them out unless you provide approved wording.
How do I prove my product is genuine online?
Show sourcing, process and the test reports you hold, with real photographs. A buyer trusts evidence they can look at.
Is it worth selling through directories?
It can bring enquiries from brands and traders. Use them for discovery, then move the serious ones to calls and samples.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on what is being changed and how many of the people who matter see it. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
