Manufacturing · Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Everyone wants a private label and few can tell which unit to trust.

The nutraceutical buyer is often a new brand, perhaps a founder with a product idea, or an online seller moving into their own label. They need a manufacturer and do not know how to judge one.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph

Nutraceutical manufacturing is the making of supplement products such as capsules, powders, tablets and gummies for brand owners, with no medicine claims. GullySales builds the private-label pages, the brand-owner enquiry route and the formulation follow-up that suit a unit selling to new and growing supplement brands.

That is the opening. A unit that explains its process, its minimum batches and its documents in plain words is trusted early. Health claims, though, are tightly regulated, and this page does not write them.

Last updated 16 Oct 2026. Licence, certification, labelling and advertising rules for pharmaceutical manufacturing differ by product and change. We describe them in general terms, so check the current position with your own adviser or the regulator before you publish a claim.

Who it is for

This is written for you if nutraceuticals is what you make or sell.

  • Contract makers of supplement capsules, tablets, powders and gummies
  • Units offering private label and white label
  • Manufacturers who help new brands with formulation and packing
  • Plants selling to online brands and direct-to-consumer sellers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A business that wants us to write what its product treats, prevents or cures
  • A unit that cannot say what it needs from a brand owner before it will start

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of nutraceuticals.

  1. Private label or own formula

A new brand chooses between a ready formula to put their name on and a custom blend. The page should explain both.

  2. Minimum order and flexibility

Small brands look for low minimums and the ability to start with one product. The first order's size drives the shortlist.

  3. Ingredient sourcing and documents

Buyers ask where ingredients come from and what test reports exist. What you can show and say is cleared with your adviser.

  4. Packing and design help

Bottles, labels, cartons and design support are asked for in the same call. Units that offer them win more brand owners.

Where orders are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell nutraceuticals.

In the words owners use on the first call.

  • “New brands ask many questions and then vanish”

Founders explore several units and decide late. A unit that sends a clear first-step guide keeps them.

  • “We cannot say what the product does”

Rules restrict claims on supplements. Pages must describe the product and process without health claims, which many units find hard.

  • “Online brands order once and move to a cheaper unit”

Rate-led brand owners switch easily. Service, speed and support are what holds them.

What we do

What you get for nutraceuticals.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. Process pages without claims

Explain how a product is made and packed, in a way your adviser can approve.

  2. A start guide for new brands

Shows a first-time founder what happens next, which is why they choose you.

  3. A brand-owner enquiry form

Sorts real projects from window shopping.

  4. A WhatsApp reply set

Standard answers on minimums, samples and packing, ready for quick use.

How the result is measured

  • Brand-owner enquiries
  • Enquiries with a product and quantity stated
  • Samples sent and followed up
  • First batches won
  • Second products from the same brand
  • Repeat orders

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before we talk.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Product types and formats you make
  • Minimum batch sizes and packing options
  • Brands you currently make for, described in general terms
  • Documents you can share with a new brand
  • Your adviser's guidance on what you may say on the website

Export and new regions

Selling nutraceuticals beyond your home market.

Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.

  1. Overseas private-label buyers

Foreign supplement brands and online sellers look for Indian makers through directories and trade shows. We start from your own export enquiries.

  2. Claims and labelling by country

What may be said or listed on a supplement differs sharply between countries. Your adviser decides, and we write to that.

FAQ

Questions about selling nutraceuticals.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can the website say what the supplement does?
Not without your adviser confirming the wording, and often not at all. We describe how it is made and packed, and leave health claims out.
Is private label better than a custom formula to promote?
Private label draws more enquiries from new brands because it is simpler to start. Custom formula work suits brands that already know what they want.
How do I reach online sellers?
Through search for private label manufacturing, directories and LinkedIn. A start guide on your site helps them decide.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on what is being changed and how many of the people who matter see it. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
