Plastic injection moulding units · WhatsApp marketing

Send the sample photo and tolerance report the moment it is ready.

WhatsApp is where much of the day-to-day RFQ and sample approval conversation with a buyer already happens. A moulding unit needs a routine for sending drawings, sample photographs and tolerance reports there, without losing track of what was agreed. GullySales sets up this routine and keeps a record alongside the RFQ log.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For plastic injection moulding units

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Sample photos and reports move approval faster than a courier alone”

A photograph of the sample and a quick tolerance reading, sent on WhatsApp the day it comes off the machine, gives the buyer something to react to immediately. That beats waiting days for the physical sample to arrive.

  • “Quoting details need to be recorded, not left in a chat thread”

A tooling lead time or price agreed over WhatsApp can be forgotten or disputed later if it is not copied into the RFQ record. Every commitment made there needs a written note kept alongside it.

  • “A quick reply on WhatsApp can decide the shortlist”

A buyer messaging a quick clarifying question about a drawing before sending the full RFQ is often testing responsiveness. A fast, specific reply keeps the unit on the list for the formal enquiry.

What we do

What we deliver for plastic injection moulding units.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A sample photo and tolerance reporting routine

A routine for sending a photograph and quick tolerance reading over WhatsApp the day a sample comes off the machine.

Result: A buyer reacts to the sample before the physical piece even arrives.

  2. A commitment log for WhatsApp conversations

A simple habit of copying any price, tooling lead time or approval agreed over WhatsApp into the RFQ record the same day.

Result: A commitment made in chat can still be checked later.

  3. Ready wording for quick clarifying questions

Prepared, specific replies for the quick drawing or material questions a buyer sends before the formal RFQ arrives.

Result: A fast, specific reply keeps the unit on the shortlist.

  4. A WhatsApp Business profile linked to the record

A WhatsApp Business profile set up with the unit's details and linked to the same RFQ record used for email and calls.

Result: Nothing said over WhatsApp gets lost outside the main record.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a moulding unit settles before a buyer's drawing and sample photographs arrive on WhatsApp.

A sales number that outlives the person
Register WhatsApp Business on a company number held by the sales desk and shown on the quotation and the IndiaMART listing. A buyer who saves the number should still reach you when the sales engineer moves on.
Consent from the buyer's contact
Ask the purchase or quality engineer, in the RFQ acknowledgement, whether status updates on this part may come on WhatsApp. Record the name and date. Numbers from a trade fair visiting card need a short permission message first.
Catalogue of processes and materials
List the processes you run, such as insert moulding or two-shot, the materials, such as PP, ABS, PA and PC, and the machine tonnage band. Match it to the capability sheet so the two never disagree.
Which messages need a template
A sample dispatch note or a reminder that a first-article report is pending, which you start yourself, needs an approved template. Check WhatsApp's current business policy and pricing before planning how many go out.
Drawings and reports stay in the RFQ log
Say that a drawing, a revision, a tolerance report or a price accepted on chat is copied to the RFQ log with the part number and revision letter. The chat is a conversation, not the record of approval.
Opt-out and a named contact
Each broadcast has a way to stop, and each reply names the engineer who handles that part. Large OEMs may bar WhatsApp for formal approvals; ask the buyer which route the sample sign-off must follow.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is WhatsApp appropriate for a formal RFQ process?
Yes, alongside email. Many buyers use it for quick questions, sample photos and updates, as long as final quotes and commitments are also recorded in writing.
How do we stop details getting lost in chat messages?
By copying any price, lead time or approval agreed over WhatsApp into the RFQ record the same day, so nothing depends on scrolling back through a chat thread later.
A buyer sends a revised drawing on WhatsApp as an image. Can we quote from it?
Quote only from a file with a revision number, in the format the buyer's system issues. An image can hide a changed dimension or tolerance. Ask for the drawing as a document, and record the revision letter on the quote and the RFQ log.
Should we send sample photographs of rejected parts to the buyer on WhatsApp?
Only if the buyer asks, and with the part number, lot and the reason for rejection written beside the photograph. For anything affecting a delivery date, follow the chat with the formal deviation or rejection note, so both sides hold one record.
How is marketing different for a moulding unit compared to a consumer brand?
A moulding unit is bought by a procurement engineer comparing tonnage, tooling lead time and an RFQ reply, not persuaded by a social media post. The work is visibility on IndiaMART and directories, a fast and complete RFQ response, and collateral that shows real capability.
Do we need ads or SEO for a moulding unit?
Most units get more from a complete, current directory listing and a faster RFQ reply than from advertising. Search visibility helps once the listings and response process are solid and the unit wants to be found for a specific process or material.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
