NGOs · Content marketing

Write the page a compliance officer needs before the meeting.

Content for an NGO serves three readers. A corporate officer checking whether you can deliver and report, a donor deciding on a single gift, and a volunteer looking for a task. GullySales writes for each of them from your programme records rather than from the mission statement.

A newsstand under a striped awning: three tiers of folded publications racked spine on, one title on the top tier turned to face the street, and a crate of rolled copies at the foot of the stand

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the free audit onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For NGOs

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The mission statement is the least useful thing you own

Nobody funds a sentence about dignity. A page saying forty children in a named block attend a centre five days a week is what actually gets read.

  • Your utilisation report is already content

It holds the numbers, the places and what changed. Published as a page instead of filed as an attachment, it answers the compliance question before anybody asks it.

  • One person's account does the work of ten pages

A single story, told with consent and without identifying anyone who did not agree, is what a donor remembers and forwards to somebody else.

What we do

What we deliver for NGOs.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A programme page written from the records

Numbers, places, the people served and what happens week to week, taken from your own programme reports rather than from an appeal letter.

Result: A funder reads something they can check.

  2. The annual and utilisation reports rewritten as pages

The same content set out as readable web pages with the year in the heading, alongside the signed file for anyone who needs it.

Result: The proof of delivery is found rather than requested.

  3. A page showing what a gift pays for

Rupee figures taken from your own costing, showing what a month of one child's schooling or one health camp actually costs.

Result: A donor can choose an amount with a reason behind it.

  4. Stories collected on a routine, with consent

A simple format for programme staff to record one account a month, with consent taken and identifying detail removed at the point of writing.

Result: There is always something true to publish.

  5. A page for each district naming the centres

The blocks, schools, villages or centres where you work, with what runs in each and since when.

Result: The local search and the corporate search both find it.

  6. Answers to the registration and receipt questions

A short set of written answers on what your registration means for a donor or a company, checked with your auditor before publishing.

Result: The first email a funder would send is no longer needed.

  7. Content reported against enquiries and donations

Which pages brought corporate enquiries, donations and volunteer sign-ups, reported monthly against the starting baseline.

Result: Writing effort goes where it produced something.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for NGOs

  1. 1

Audit the donor and CSR journey

We check how a CSR manager or an individual donor finds you today, whether the 80G and FCRA status is visible, and how fast a donation-page enquiry gets a reply.

  2. 2

    Fix the programme pages

A page for each programme, with the cause, the district, the rupee ask and the current annual report, replacing one general appeal page that serves nobody.

  3. 3

Put CSR conversations in a CRM

Every corporate enquiry, past partnership and renewal date recorded in one place, so a programme officer's transfer or leave does not lose the relationship.

  4. 4

    Build visibility for the cause

Search and social content built around the specific programme and district, so the NGO is found by the CSR team searching for that exact combination.

  5. 5

    Report on enquiries and commitments

A monthly report of donor and CSR enquiries, how many turned into a commitment, and where in the year renewal conversations are due.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We have no writer. Where does the material come from?
Your programme officers. Twenty minutes with the person running a centre gives the numbers, the names of places and the reason a family enrolled. We write it down and they check the facts.
Can we put rupee figures against outcomes?
Only figures from your own costing that can be shown in the accounts. A cost per child per month taken from your budget is fine. A round number invented for an appeal is a problem waiting for an auditor.
How is this different from a fundraising consultant?
A fundraising consultant usually builds one campaign. We build the pages, the CRM record and the reply routine so every CSR enquiry and donor question is tracked after the campaign ends, not just during it.
Do you work with our CSR partners directly?
We build the material and the process; the relationship and the ask stay with your team. Where useful, we join a review call to walk through the reporting.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
