NGOs · Local SEO

Let the volunteer and the book donor find your centre on a map.

Local search for an NGO is the Maps listing a volunteer, a clothes donor or a family needing help opens when they look for something nearby. GullySales sets up a listing for each centre, states what you can actually accept and when, and keeps the drop-off details right.

A market cross in a small town square: a stepped stone cross of four worn tiers standing in a ring of cobbles, a coil of stall rope left on the bottom step, a chalk pitch marked out on the stones and a chalk arrow pointing in from the nearest lane

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For NGOs

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • In-kind giving arrives through a local search

People look up where to donate books, clothes or a wheelchair near them, usually after a house clean-out before Deepavali. The listing that says what you take gets the carload.

  • The people you serve are searching too

A family looking for a shelter, an old-age home or a free health camp searches on a phone. A listing with the address and the hours written plainly is a service in itself.

  • Volunteers choose by travel time

A student picking between two organisations takes the one twenty minutes away. Whether you appear on the map for that area settles it.

What we do

What we deliver for NGOs.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A listing for each centre people can visit

The office, the centre or the home set up in its own right, with the address, the hours and a phone somebody answers.

Result: A donor or a volunteer can reach the right place.

  2. What you accept and what you cannot, stated plainly

Books, school bags, grain, wheelchairs or whatever you can store and use, listed alongside what you have to turn away.

Result: Your staff stop sorting through things you cannot use.

  3. Drop-off hours and a named contact

The hours somebody is present to receive a donation, with a name and a number rather than a general office line.

Result: Nobody arrives with a car boot full and finds the gate shut.

  4. Photographs of the centre taken with consent

The building, the classroom, the kitchen or the workshop photographed with permission, and with faces handled according to your own consent rule.

Result: A first-time visitor knows the place is real.

  5. Information for the people you serve

What help is available, who it is for and what to bring, written into the listing and the page in plain language.

Result: A family finds you without needing an introduction.

  6. Reviews from volunteers and visitors answered

Reviews invited from volunteers after a shift and from visitors after a camp, with a written reply to each one.

Result: Somebody checking you sees recent, answered accounts.

  7. Calls and direction requests reported monthly

Listing calls, messages and direction requests by centre, against the figures recorded before anything was changed.

Result: You can see whether the listing brings people through the gate.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for NGOs

  1. 1

Audit the donor and CSR journey

We check how a CSR manager or an individual donor finds you today, whether the 80G and FCRA status is visible, and how fast a donation-page enquiry gets a reply.

  2. 2

    Fix the programme pages

A page for each programme, with the cause, the district, the rupee ask and the current annual report, replacing one general appeal page that serves nobody.

  3. 3

Put CSR conversations in a CRM

Every corporate enquiry, past partnership and renewal date recorded in one place, so a programme officer's transfer or leave does not lose the relationship.

  4. 4

    Build visibility for the cause

Search and social content built around the specific programme and district, so the NGO is found by the CSR team searching for that exact combination.

  5. 5

    Report on enquiries and commitments

A monthly report of donor and CSR enquiries, how many turned into a commitment, and where in the year renewal conversations are due.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

We work in villages and have one office in the city. What goes on the map?
The office, because that is where people can come. Set the districts you work in as the service area and build a page for each one. A pin dropped on a village you visit monthly helps nobody.
Should we accept every in-kind donation offered?
Say on the listing what you can use and store. A line saying books and school bags yes, used clothing no saves your staff a week of sorting and saves the donor a wasted trip.
How is this different from a fundraising consultant?
A fundraising consultant usually builds one campaign. We build the pages, the CRM record and the reply routine so every CSR enquiry and donor question is tracked after the campaign ends, not just during it.
Do you work with our CSR partners directly?
We build the material and the process; the relationship and the ask stay with your team. Where useful, we join a review call to walk through the reporting.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
