NGOs · Search engine optimisation

Be found for the cause and the district, not for the word NGO.

Search engine optimisation for an NGO decides who a CSR manager finds when they search for a partner in one cause and one district. It is your programme page or the next organisation on the list. GullySales builds a page per programme with the registration status visible, and gets the annual report where a search can reach it.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For NGOs

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The search is a cause plus a district

A CSR team looks for a girl child education partner in a named district, not for an NGO in general. A single mission page answers neither half of that search.

  • Your annual report is a file nobody can find

A compliance officer searching your name and the word report should reach the current one in a click. On most NGO sites it sits behind a form or is two years old.

  • Donors search the deduction before they search you

People looking up 80G and donation receipts land on the largest names. A plain page on what your receipt shows brings some of that traffic to a small organisation.

What we do

What we deliver for NGOs.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each programme with the district named

One page per programme stating the cause, the blocks or centres covered, the number of people reached and the rupee ask, written from your own records.

Result: The exact search a CSR team runs has something to land on.

  2. Registration status on a page, not inside a file

The 12A, 80G, CSR-1 and FCRA position shown as readable text with the certificates alongside, and a named person responsible for keeping it current.

Result: A compliance officer verifies you without sending an email.

  3. The annual and utilisation reports made findable

Reports published as pages a search engine can read, with the year in the heading and the older ones kept rather than replaced.

Result: The check a corporate team runs turns up the current report.

  4. A page answering the donation and receipt question

What a donor receives, when the receipt arrives, what the registration means for them, written in plain words and confirmed by your auditor.

Result: The search about deductions reaches you instead of a news article.

  5. A page for each district you actually work in

The blocks, schools, centres or villages named, with what runs there and who it serves, built only for districts where you have a programme.

Result: A search for the cause in that district finds your work.

  6. Monthly reporting by programme page

Search traffic, CSR enquiries and donations traced to each programme page, set against the baseline recorded before work began.

Result: You can see which programme is bringing in partners.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for NGOs

  1. 1

Audit the donor and CSR journey

We check how a CSR manager or an individual donor finds you today, whether the 80G and FCRA status is visible, and how fast a donation-page enquiry gets a reply.

  2. 2

    Fix the programme pages

A page for each programme, with the cause, the district, the rupee ask and the current annual report, replacing one general appeal page that serves nobody.

  3. 3

Put CSR conversations in a CRM

Every corporate enquiry, past partnership and renewal date recorded in one place, so a programme officer's transfer or leave does not lose the relationship.

  4. 4

    Build visibility for the cause

Search and social content built around the specific programme and district, so the NGO is found by the CSR team searching for that exact combination.

  5. 5

    Report on enquiries and commitments

A monthly report of donor and CSR enquiries, how many turned into a commitment, and where in the year renewal conversations are due.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

  • LL Trust

    Situation
The trust had no identity of its own, so nothing in how it presented itself distinguished it from comparable organisations competing for the same donors.

    • A palette that carries the values
    • Reviewed with the trust
    Result
No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should our registration numbers be on the website at all?
Yes, on a page a compliance team can reach without emailing you. Keep them current, because a lapsed number found by a corporate team is worse than no number. Your auditor confirms what your status allows you to state.
We work in four districts. One page or four?
Four, if a programme actually runs in each. A district page naming the blocks, schools or centres matches the search a CSR team makes. One page listing four districts ranks for none of them.
How is this different from a fundraising consultant?
A fundraising consultant usually builds one campaign. We build the pages, the CRM record and the reply routine so every CSR enquiry and donor question is tracked after the campaign ends, not just during it.
Do you work with our CSR partners directly?
We build the material and the process; the relationship and the ask stay with your team. Where useful, we join a review call to walk through the reporting.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
