NGOs · Digital marketing

Fix everything that costs only time before you spend a rupee.

Digital marketing for an NGO starts with what costs nothing but attention: the registration status visible, the programme pages current, the enquiry answered the same day. GullySales works through that list before anything is bought, then picks the channel that suits each of your three audiences.

A steam traction engine belted across a stackyard to a wooden threshing machine: the long flat belt taut between the flywheel and the drive pulley, the flywheel spinning, a straw elevator raking up off the far end, a full sack hanging on the sack spout, a corn stack half taken down behind and a water cart standing by

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For NGOs

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Promotion spending has to survive a board meeting

Every rupee not spent on the programme gets questioned by trustees and by donors. That alone is a reason to start with the work that costs only time.

  • A compliance team is a search engine user too

Before the meeting they check the registration, the annual report and what your name returns. Those three results are most of the digital job for corporate funding.

  • Nobody recorded who gave last Deepavali

A festival appeal brings hundreds of donations and no list you can reach in January, so next year's appeal starts from nothing again.

What we do

What we deliver for NGOs.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A written plan in order of cost

What gets fixed with time, what needs production, what needs money, each with the effect it is expected to have written beside it.

Result: The cheap work happens before the expensive work.

  2. One set of organisation facts used everywhere

Registration position, districts, programme names, team and contact details written once and used on the site, every profile and every proposal.

Result: Nothing a corporate team checks contradicts anything else.

  3. A channel chosen for each audience

LinkedIn and search for the corporate side, Instagram and WhatsApp for individual donors, colleges and local groups for volunteers.

Result: Effort stops being spread evenly over channels that do different jobs.

  4. Appeals scheduled against the year

Festival giving, the weeks before the financial year closes, the academic year and the monsoon relief season marked out with what goes out when.

Result: Appeals are prepared instead of improvised.

  5. A record a trustee can read

Spend, donations, corporate enquiries and volunteer sign-ups on one page, in the language of the board rather than of advertising.

Result: The board can see what promotion produced.

  6. A monthly report against the baseline

Enquiries by programme and source, reply time, commitments signed and renewals due, set against the figures recorded before work started.

Result: You can tell which part of the effort is working.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for NGOs

  1. 1

Audit the donor and CSR journey

We check how a CSR manager or an individual donor finds you today, whether the 80G and FCRA status is visible, and how fast a donation-page enquiry gets a reply.

  2. 2

    Fix the programme pages

A page for each programme, with the cause, the district, the rupee ask and the current annual report, replacing one general appeal page that serves nobody.

  3. 3

Put CSR conversations in a CRM

Every corporate enquiry, past partnership and renewal date recorded in one place, so a programme officer's transfer or leave does not lose the relationship.

  4. 4

    Build visibility for the cause

Search and social content built around the specific programme and district, so the NGO is found by the CSR team searching for that exact combination.

  5. 5

    Report on enquiries and commitments

A monthly report of donor and CSR enquiries, how many turned into a commitment, and where in the year renewal conversations are due.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Our trustees think promotion takes money from the programme. What do we tell them?
That most of this work is not spending. Putting the registration status on a page, making the annual report findable and answering a CSR email the same day costs time. Keep the paid part small, dated and reported.
Which channel actually produces corporate funding?
Search and LinkedIn, and mostly they confirm rather than introduce. A CSR manager hears your name at a forum or from a peer and then checks. What they find decides whether a meeting happens at all.
How is this different from a fundraising consultant?
A fundraising consultant usually builds one campaign. We build the pages, the CRM record and the reply routine so every CSR enquiry and donor question is tracked after the campaign ends, not just during it.
Do you work with our CSR partners directly?
We build the material and the process; the relationship and the ask stay with your team. Where useful, we join a review call to walk through the reporting.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
