NGOs · Social media

Instagram brings the donor and LinkedIn brings the CSR head.

Social media for an NGO does two unrelated jobs. One reaches a donor who gives after seeing a single post. The other reaches a corporate head checking that you exist before a meeting is agreed. GullySales runs those as two channels with different posts, and attaches the consent rule to every photograph.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For NGOs

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The donor post and the corporate post are opposites

A donor responds to one person and one place. A CSR head is looking for districts, scale and whether you can report properly.

  • A WhatsApp forward beats your own page

Your real reach is a resident dropping an appeal into their society group. Give them something short enough to forward and a link that works on a phone.

  • Distress imagery raises money and costs partnerships

A corporate team reading its own policy on dignity will notice how you photograph people. The post that performs best can be the one that loses the partnership.

What we do

What we deliver for NGOs.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Two posting routines, one for each audience

Programme and appeal posts for donors on Instagram and Facebook, and district, scale and reporting posts for the corporate side on LinkedIn.

Result: Each audience sees what it came for.

  2. An appeal built to be forwarded

A short message, one photograph and a link that opens on a phone, written so a supporter can drop it into a society or college group.

Result: Your supporters do the distribution.

  3. The corporate channel worked by a named person

The founder or programme head connected to CSR managers and foundation staff, posting a programme update each fortnight in their own words.

Result: A CSR head recognises a person, not a page.

  4. The consent rule applied to every post

A check before publishing that consent exists, that no caption locates a person, and that the photograph would be acceptable to the family in it.

Result: Nothing you post can come back on somebody you serve.

  5. Appeals timed to the giving calendar

Festival weeks, the closing weeks of the financial year and the start of the academic year planned out with what is posted when.

Result: You ask while people are already giving.

  6. Messages and comments logged as enquiries

Direct messages about donating, volunteering or partnering routed into the same record as an email or a phone call.

Result: A donor who asked a question gets an answer.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for NGOs

  1. 1

Audit the donor and CSR journey

We check how a CSR manager or an individual donor finds you today, whether the 80G and FCRA status is visible, and how fast a donation-page enquiry gets a reply.

  2. 2

    Fix the programme pages

A page for each programme, with the cause, the district, the rupee ask and the current annual report, replacing one general appeal page that serves nobody.

  3. 3

Put CSR conversations in a CRM

Every corporate enquiry, past partnership and renewal date recorded in one place, so a programme officer's transfer or leave does not lose the relationship.

  4. 4

    Build visibility for the cause

Search and social content built around the specific programme and district, so the NGO is found by the CSR team searching for that exact combination.

  5. 5

    Report on enquiries and commitments

A monthly report of donor and CSR enquiries, how many turned into a commitment, and where in the year renewal conversations are due.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

  • LL Trust

    Situation
The trust had no identity of its own, so nothing in how it presented itself distinguished it from comparable organisations competing for the same donors.

    • A palette that carries the values
    • Reviewed with the trust
    Result
No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should the organisation post, or the founder?
Both, doing different jobs. The organisation's page carries the programmes and the appeals. The founder's own profile is what a CSR head connects to, because that is where they judge whether there is somebody to work with.
Does a large follower count bring donations?
Not by itself. A thousand people in the districts you work in, and fifty corporate professionals who know your name, are worth more than ten thousand strangers. Count donations and enquiries instead of followers.
How is this different from a fundraising consultant?
A fundraising consultant usually builds one campaign. We build the pages, the CRM record and the reply routine so every CSR enquiry and donor question is tracked after the campaign ends, not just during it.
Do you work with our CSR partners directly?
We build the material and the process; the relationship and the ask stay with your team. Where useful, we join a review call to walk through the reporting.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
