B2C app startups · Digital marketing

Spend on the channels that bring users who stay, and stop paying for the ones that do not.

Digital marketing for a B2C app is the mix of paid ads, search, creators, messages and store optimisation that brings users in and keeps them. GullySales plans the mix from install to repeat use and judges every channel by the users who return.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For B2C app startups

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Cost per install flatters the wrong channel”

The cheapest install can come from a source that sends people who never open the app again. A channel is worth what its users do in week two and beyond. Budgets follow cost per returning or paying user instead.

  • “One channel is a single point of failure”

An app that gets all its users from one ad platform is exposed when costs rise or delivery changes. A second source, such as search, creators or referrals, protects the install flow, even if it starts small.

  • “The funnel breaks between the ad and the first action”

An ad promises one thing, the store shows another and the first screen asks for a login. Each step loses people. Fixing the path does more for results than raising the budget.

  • “Measurement is the foundation”

Without a tool that ties each install to its source and each source to purchases, decisions are guesses. Setting up events, attribution and consent correctly comes before any scaling of spend.

What we do

What we deliver for B2C app startups.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Channel plan

A plan for which channels to test, in what order and with what small starting budget each, with the reason for each choice.

Result: A plan that tests channels one at a time.

  2. Tracking set-up

A written event list for developers, attribution links for every source and a dashboard that shows cost to returning user.

Result: One report that compares all sources.

  3. Ad creative set

Static and video ads in the languages of your users, each built around one task the app does.

    Result: Creative ready to test.

  4. Store listing and landing page alignment

The ad, the store page and the first screen made to say the same thing.

Result: A consistent path from ad to first action.

  5. Channel scorecard

A comparison of channels by cost to returning user and cost to paying user, reviewed before any budget moves.

Result: Budget decisions made on returning users.

  6. Budget rules

Written rules for when to raise, hold or stop spend on a channel.

Result: Clear conditions for changing spend.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the digital marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do you manage the ad spend?
It can be agreed either way. The ad spend is yours, paid to the platform and billed apart from our fee.
What budget do we need?
It depends on the app and the channel. We start with a small test for each channel and increase only where returning users justify it. We do not promise results.
How do we know it works?
By following users from the source to a second visit and a first purchase. If a channel brings installs but no returns, the report shows it.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
