Borewell and drilling contractors · Digital marketing

Put your rig in front of the owner who is searching with a dry tap.

Digital marketing for a borewell contractor is the combined use of search, the Google Business Profile, a website, WhatsApp and paid advertising to bring drilling, flushing and pump enquiries to a rig. GullySales picks the channels that suit the places your crew can reach and counts the calls each one brings.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For borewell and drilling contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Spend is spread over places the rig cannot reach”

An advertisement shown across a whole state brings calls from towns two days away. Each of those calls costs the owner a refusal and the advertiser a click.

  • “Search demand rises and falls with the water”

Calls bunch in the dry months and thin out in the rains. Spend that is flat across the year pays for clicks in July and misses the week in April.

  • “The click ends at a number nobody answers”

A good advertisement leads to a page with a phone that rings out. The channel is blamed when the fault is the reply.

  • “Each channel is judged on its own”

Search, the profile, WhatsApp and social posts are measured separately, and the owner cannot tell which one the signed job came from. Without one record, money moves to the loudest channel.

What we do

What we deliver for borewell and drilling contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Channel plan for your districts

A short plan naming the channels, the towns each covers and why, with the ones left out and the reason.

Result: Effort goes only where the rig can work.

  2. Search advertising limited to your area

Advertisements for borewell and flushing searches in the towns you serve, with a written budget and a stop rule.

Result: Spend does not run into places you do not go.

  3. Business Profile and website as the base

The profile, job pages and call button set up before paid advertising starts.

Result: Paid clicks land on a page that answers.

  4. Phone and WhatsApp handling

A reply routine so each call and message is answered or returned and logged.

Result: The enquiry the advertisement paid for is not wasted.

  5. Seasonal calendar

Plans for the dry months, the weeks before sowing and the period before the rains, matched to the jobs you sell in each.

Result: Marketing follows the workload of the rig.

  6. Single enquiry report

Calls, visits, quotes and signed jobs by channel in one sheet, with media spend recorded separately against the baseline.

Result: The owner sees which channel produced work.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small contractor start?
With the Business Profile, a phone that is answered and a page for each job. Paid advertising comes after, because it sends people to those. A profile with real photographs and a working number is the cheapest base.
Is paid advertising worth it for one rig?
It can be when the rig is idle for part of the year and the advertisement is limited to the towns you reach. Set a budget in writing, count the calls and visits, and stop if they do not lead to signed jobs.
Can you promise a number of enquiries?
No. Enquiries depend on the season, the water table, the area and your reply. We set up the channels, record what arrives and show you the numbers as they are, without a promised count.
When does search demand rise for a borewell contractor?
It follows the water: dry spells and hot months bring more searches, and the monsoon brings fewer. Check your own call records for the pattern in your area. Plan content and spend around it, and keep the monsoon for pump and flushing work.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
