Payroll and HR outsourcing firms · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the payroll problem an owner has this week, not for HR services.

SEO for a payroll and HR outsourcing firm means being the page an owner finds when they type a payroll or compliance problem with a city beside it. GullySales builds a page for each service you run and each state you file in, keeps compliance guides apart from the service pages, and reports client enquiries instead of visits.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For payroll and HR outsourcing firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Most searchers do payroll, they do not buy it”

PF challan payment steps and Form 16 download bring clerks and employees by the thousand. The owner who might hire you types payroll outsourcing company in a city, and that page is usually missing.

  • “One state's page is wrong in the next state”

Professional tax, labour welfare fund and registrations differ by state. A page written for Karnataka and reused for Tamil Nadu ranks for neither and misleads whoever reads it.

  • “Software sites own the plain word payroll”

Payroll software firms fill the first results for the generic term. A service firm wins on the searches where a person has to do the work, such as payroll for a factory with contract labour.

What we do

What we deliver for payroll and HR outsourcing firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page per service you run

Payroll processing, PF and ESI filings, contract payroll, full and final settlements and labour law audits, each naming what you do, what the client still does and what you need before the first run.

Result: An owner searching one service finds a page about that service.

  2. State pages for where you file

A page for each state naming the registrations and local deductions that differ there, the industrial areas you serve, and a date on which the rules were last checked.

Result: A company opening a branch finds you for the new state.

  3. Pages by buyer situation

Payroll for a company with contract labour, a first payroll after a funding round, and employer of record for a foreign parent, each written for that buyer and not for payroll in general.

Result: Specific searches land on specific answers.

  4. Compliance guides kept on their own path

How-to guides for clerks and HR admins in a separate section with its own navigation, so a reader hunting a PF form never mistakes it for the page about hiring you.

Result: Client pages stop competing with help pages.

  5. A clean-up of stale compliance pages

Old guides that quote limits or slabs since revised are updated or removed, and thin pages about single forms are merged into one useful guide.

Result: A wrong figure no longer sits on a compliance firm's own site.

  6. A report that separates owners from clerks

Enquiries from search counted apart from visits to help guides, set against the baseline recorded at the audit.

Result: You can see whether search brings clients or only readers.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What an owner or finance head types when payroll becomes a problem, and the page that answers it.

payroll outsourcing company in Bengaluru
A service page with a city. List what you run, which industries and sizes of company you serve, and what a client sends you for the first cycle. Add the areas you visit, such as Peenya or Whitefield.
payroll for a company with contract labour
A page for the principal employer. Say who holds the licence, which registers you keep, and how wages reach the workers. Ask a labour-law adviser to read the page before it goes live.
how to set up payroll for a new branch in another state
A how-to page. Name the registrations that vary by state, what to apply for before the first salary, and which parts you handle. State the date the rules were last checked.
employer of record services in India
A page for a foreign head office. Say who is the legal employer, what the contract looks like, how payroll and statutory dues are handled, and what the client still decides.
full and final settlement process for a resigned employee
A guide for an HR head. Cover the components, the documents, who approves and what to record, and point to your own exit service. Leave out figures that depend on current rules.
payroll outsourcing versus payroll software
A comparison page. Say honestly what a tool does, what a person still has to do, and when a firm with ten staff should stay on software. It brings buyers who already trust you.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for payroll and HR outsourcing firms

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we trace where your last signed clients came from, how many quotes were lost and why, and how onboarding actually runs for a new client.

  2. 2

    Make the work visible

Service pages by what you run, a note on how a run is checked, and a data-handling page, so an owner can judge your control without a visit.

  3. 3

    Fix the quote

A scoping sheet and a written quote that show what the rate covers, so you are no longer compared on one number.

  4. 4

Reach the people who recommend you

CAs, auditors, bankers, associations and software resellers, each with a short note on what you take and what you leave with them.

  5. 5

    Convert and keep

An enquiry record, an onboarding checklist with one owner, and a log of client queries that shows who is unhappy before they write the notice.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we write guides on PF and ESI rules?
Write them on how the work is done and what to check, not on rates and slabs that change. Link the official notification and put the date you last checked on the page. A wrong figure on a compliance firm's page does more harm than no page.
Do we need a page for every city?
Only where you have clients or file returns. A page per state where the rules differ is worth more than forty thin city pages. Add a city page when you have something true to say about its industrial areas.
Employees keep landing on our blog looking for their PF balance. Is that a problem?
It is traffic that will never become a client. Answer the question briefly, send them to the official portal, and keep those pages in a help section so they do not distort the numbers you use to judge the site.
Can we copy a competitor's compliance guide and reword it?
Do not. Rules change, and a copied guide carries the other firm's mistakes and the same thin text. Write from what you handle: the notice a client received, the query that keeps recurring, the form that confuses everyone.
How do we market ourselves without naming our clients?
Show the control, not the logo. Describe the work by sector, state and size of payroll, and publish a note on how a run is checked. Name a client only with their written agreement, because payroll is among the most private work a company hands out.
Should we publish our per-employee rate?
No. A bare number invites the comparison you are trying to escape. Publish what the rate covers and what is billed separately, and give the figure in a written quote after a scoping call.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
