Photography and videography studios · Branding

Your style is the product, so say what it is before a couple guesses.

Branding for a studio is deciding what your work is known for, and making that clear before a client opens the gallery. GullySales settles the style, the price position and the name you shoot under, then carries it through the website, the reels, the proposal and the album box.

A sign-painter's bench: a shop sign on a low easel lettered as far as its last character, which is still only pencilled in, a mahl stick laid across the work, open tins of paint on the floor and a finished sign hanging from its iron bracket above

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For photography and videography studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Candid and traditional are two different businesses

A studio promising both shows a gallery that pleases neither. Say which one you are built around, and keep the other as a clearly named second service if you still want it.

  • Your own name or the studio's name is a real decision

A studio named after its founder cannot send an associate without explaining why. A studio with its own name can grow a team, and has to earn trust without a face.

  • The album and the box are the last thing you make

A family shows that album to relatives for twenty years. The cover, the box and the handover keep producing referrals long after the reel has stopped being watched.

What we do

What we deliver for photography and videography studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A positioning note naming your style and who it suits

One page on the work you want, the budget band you are aiming at, and the shoots you will turn down to protect it.

Result: Everyone quoting for the studio says the same thing.

  2. A portfolio edited down to the work you want more of

Older and off-brand galleries retired, the strongest recent work brought forward, and a set order for how a visitor moves through it.

Result: The gallery argues for the bookings you want.

  3. One treatment across reels, website and album

A consistent colour grade, typeface, watermark and music approach, written down so an editor or an associate can follow it.

Result: Work from three people still looks like one studio.

  4. A proposal and price sheet in the studio's look

The quote document, the package sheet and the booking terms designed to match the website, with plain wording on what each package covers.

Result: The paperwork looks like the pictures.

  5. Album, box and handover designed as part of the work

The album cover, the box, the pen drive and how the delivery is presented, treated as the last piece of the job rather than an afterthought.

Result: The handover is worth photographing and sharing.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for photography and videography studios

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your portfolio against what people actually search for, how fast quotes go out, and where last season's bookings came from.

  2. 2

Fix the portfolio and the quote

Pages organised by the kind of shoot, a quote template the team can send within hours, and a record of every enquiry and the date it was for.

  3. 3

Build the pages that get found

A page for weddings, one for corporate events and one for product photography, each with real work and a way to check the date.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Local search for the shoot types you want more of, reels for reach, and Google Ads before the wedding season when the good dates go fast.

  5. 5

    Keep them coming back

A referral ask after every delivered wedding or event, and a reminder to past corporate clients before their next shoot season.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We want to move up to bigger weddings. What has to change?
The work you show and the work you decline. A studio displaying every small function it has covered will keep being asked for those. Put up the weddings closest to what you want next, and let the proposal and the album match that level.
Do we need a new logo?
Less than you think. In this trade the identity is the work, the colour treatment, the way an album is handed over and the way a quote is written. Sort those out, and a logo refresh takes an afternoon afterwards.
Do we need ads before the wedding season?
Yes, if the good dates are already filling up for competitors. Ads bring enquiries fast; the portfolio and reviews are what convert them once they arrive.
How long before we rank for wedding photography in our city?
It takes sustained work on a sound site, because the search is competitive in most cities. The Google Business Profile and reviews usually move faster, and we track both against your baseline every month.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
