Photography and videography studios · Reputation management

The album is four months late and the review says exactly that.

Reputation management for a studio is mostly about delivery, because clients rarely complain about the pictures and regularly complain about the wait. GullySales watches the reviews and the wedding groups, gets the delivery promise into writing, and asks for the review in the week the album reaches the family.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For photography and videography studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Nobody reviews the photographs, everybody reviews the wait

A couple who loved the reel will still leave one star if the album took eight months. Honest delivery dates protect a rating better than any frame you shot.

  • An associate shot it and your name carries it

When a second photographer covers a wedding under the studio banner, the review names the studio. Brief them, check the work before it goes out, and accept that their bad day is your rating.

  • The complaint reaches a family group before it reaches Google

Studio names get passed around among relatives and in planning groups. A dispute settled quickly and generously stays out of print, and one that drags does not.

What we do

What we deliver for photography and videography studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Alerts on the studio and the photographers' names

Watches on Google, the wedding directories and the platforms where couples compare studios, including the names your associates shoot under.

Result: You hear about a complaint before a new enquiry does.

  2. A written delivery timeline in every booking

Dates for the preview set, the full gallery, the film and the album, put in the quote and repeated at handover of the advance.

Result: Nobody is waiting on a promise they invented.

  3. A review ask at the shoot and at the handover

One short request a few days after the event and one when the album is delivered, each with a direct link and a line about what to mention.

Result: Reviews keep arriving through the long edit.

  4. Reply drafts for delay and edit complaints

Answers ready for the late album, the missing moment and the colour disagreement, written once so nobody replies angrily at midnight.

Result: A bad review gets a calm answer the same day.

  5. An associate brief and a check before delivery

What the studio expects of a second shooter on the day, and a review of their files before anything reaches the client.

Result: Work delivered in your name meets your standard.

  6. A monthly note on ratings and what was said

New reviews, replies sent and the complaint that came up more than once this season, set against the rating when work began.

Result: The delivery problem behind the reviews gets fixed.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

How the work runs for photography and videography studios

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your portfolio against what people actually search for, how fast quotes go out, and where last season's bookings came from.

  2. 2

Fix the portfolio and the quote

Pages organised by the kind of shoot, a quote template the team can send within hours, and a record of every enquiry and the date it was for.

  3. 3

Build the pages that get found

A page for weddings, one for corporate events and one for product photography, each with real work and a way to check the date.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Local search for the shoot types you want more of, reels for reach, and Google Ads before the wedding season when the good dates go fast.

  5. 5

    Keep them coming back

A referral ask after every delivered wedding or event, and a reminder to past corporate clients before their next shoot season.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

A client is unhappy with the edit. What do we do?
Offer a re-edit of a stated number of frames, in writing, with a date on it. Most of these arguments are about expectation rather than skill. Settle it privately and fast, because the version that ends up online is whichever one sounds more reasonable.
How do we get reviews when the shoot and the delivery are months apart?
Ask twice. A short ask a few days after the shoot while the day is fresh, and the main one when the album or the film is handed over. Two moments, two different things for them to say.
Do we need ads before the wedding season?
Yes, if the good dates are already filling up for competitors. Ads bring enquiries fast; the portfolio and reviews are what convert them once they arrive.
How long before we rank for wedding photography in our city?
It takes sustained work on a sound site, because the search is competitive in most cities. The Google Business Profile and reviews usually move faster, and we track both against your baseline every month.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
