Photography and videography studios · Email marketing

Companies book by email, and they book again the next year.

Email marketing for a studio is for the clients who repeat: companies with an annual event, brands with a seasonal catalogue, families who come back for the next occasion. GullySales builds the list from past jobs, times the reminder to their planning month, and leaves couples on WhatsApp.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For photography and videography studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • A wedding client is not a mailing list, they are a referral

They marry once. What they can do is recommend you, so what they get is a thank-you, a review link and something worth forwarding.

  • The corporate reminder has to land before the budget does

An annual day or a product launch is planned weeks ahead and quoted early. A mail arriving in that window gets a reply, and the same one after the vendor is picked does not.

  • A quote that went quiet is worth one more mail

Not every silence is a no. A short dated note asking whether the date is still open recovers work nobody else is chasing.

What we do

What we deliver for photography and videography studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list built from past jobs and old quotes

Corporate clients, brands, planners, venues and enquiries that never closed, gathered with the shoot type and the month they buy in.

Result: You have somewhere to write when the calendar is thin.

  2. An annual reminder timed to each client's event month

A dated note going out before the month a client usually books, carrying last year's work for them and this year's availability.

Result: You are asked to quote before anybody else is.

  3. A quote recovery mail

A short message to every quote that went unanswered, asking whether the date still stands and offering to revise the package.

Result: Some of the work you wrote off comes back.

  4. A thank-you and referral mail after delivery

A note when the album or film is handed over, with the review link and a shareable gallery the family can pass on.

Result: One delivered wedding leads to the next enquiry.

  5. Reporting on replies and bookings

Opens, replies and shoots booked from each mail, compared with the enquiry baseline taken before work started.

Result: The list is judged on shoots, not on opens.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for photography and videography studios

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your portfolio against what people actually search for, how fast quotes go out, and where last season's bookings came from.

  2. 2

Fix the portfolio and the quote

Pages organised by the kind of shoot, a quote template the team can send within hours, and a record of every enquiry and the date it was for.

  3. 3

Build the pages that get found

A page for weddings, one for corporate events and one for product photography, each with real work and a way to check the date.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Local search for the shoot types you want more of, reels for reach, and Google Ads before the wedding season when the good dates go fast.

  5. 5

    Keep them coming back

A referral ask after every delivered wedding or event, and a reminder to past corporate clients before their next shoot season.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What do we send a past corporate client?
Two or three things a year: the work you delivered for them, a reminder before their event month, and anything you can now shoot that you could not before. Short mails with a portfolio link, not a newsletter.
Is WhatsApp better than email for couples?
For talking to them, yes, because that is where the rest of their planning is happening. Email still carries the quote and the contract, since they need a copy to show the family and to find again in six months.
Do we need ads before the wedding season?
Yes, if the good dates are already filling up for competitors. Ads bring enquiries fast; the portfolio and reviews are what convert them once they arrive.
How long before we rank for wedding photography in our city?
It takes sustained work on a sound site, because the search is competitive in most cities. The Google Business Profile and reviews usually move faster, and we track both against your baseline every month.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
